“Overpriced nonsense, and the Owners threatened...as in literally threatened to essentially destroy the town and it's residents if they so much as dared to bring in any form of competition such as a far more budget friendly establishment common to large cities rather than snotbag, arrogant, wealthy little towns riding the illegal Oil and Gas Trade Shell Wagon since they fake incorporated illegally back in the day. Y'know, during that era where the "Village People" went all NIMBY against the few people of color in the area? Come on someone must know at least a little bit of history around here! Check out the old timey article in the Sarnia News Archives. It's the one that says that the "black people ran for their lives into the forest but were never seen or heard from again." It immediately switched gears and went on about how a group was arrested yet magically somehow escaped, only 1 man was charged (gee, do you think this Journalist might be trying to convey a more sinister story than what is being told?) Anyways.A shame that nobody is willing to inform the Owners of Independent (snark) that this practice of threat to monopolize your business is highly illegal, and there are paper trails for these things despite best efforts to conceal. Illegal GUARDIANships, for example, against a Whistle-blower without her having any form of knowledge in this regard, may be a problem. But I'm no expert I'm sure.Re-stock the frozen juice already. I don't support your business any further and your efforts to ensure that myself and children are unable to obtain necessary services such as EMS and now groceries has ensured that I am no longer a hindrance to your ongoing success and dictatorship in this definitely not fake commune out here. You don't have to punish the residents (well, I mean, you can but I'm sure that there are other entities for these types of things) by denying them cheap fruit punch any longer.5 stars. Exceeded my expectations.”
“As soon as one enters this store, one can see and feel a difference. As tourists for several weeks in the area, this store had what other grocery stores didn’t—authentic helpfulness, product selection (case in point, we wanted some flowers as a gift—Watford Fdland had no selection compared to Wyoming. Bigger isn’t always better.) As we all age, it is imperative that locals supporttheir essential stores close to home — one never knows at any age when driving will be the deal breaker. The deals somewhere else won’t be wonderful if the local stores haven’t survived. This is an amazing local store.”
“Phenomenal customer service! Jen goes above and beyond for customers. She called to say she overcharged us $6 and was sure to get us a refund/credit. So unexpected (we didn’t even notice!) but also appreciate the effort to ensure we were taken care of.”
