I reached out via Email to ask about their stock on some older board games. With in 24 hours Jean reached out to me and let me know what she had in stock and the prices.
I went in that day and she had already put the stuff aside for me with out me even confirming I was coming in. Jean and the other worker there were super friendly and were awesome to talk to. All these years in Peterborough and I haven't stopped by here. I work right down the street and I will be coming back for sure!

Many thanks to many joyful years bringing my boys into The Toy Shop of Peterborough, the best place to find unique and interesting toys, games, puzzles and always that one little thing you never knew existed. From the Thomas the Tank days, to finding great books (especially Franklin's) and though now with a teen and early 20 year old, many great finds for stocking stuffers this year for older kids who are still young at heart because they remember those days going there. Both who love Stars Wars and anything Lego. The new space is absolutely great, organized and big! Hope you're there for many years to come.

Got to see their new premises for the first time today and holy cats it looks amazing! You can finally really SEE the awesome selection they've always had here. Soooo many games and plushies and animals and vehicles. Looking forward to bringing my kiddo for his birthday in the new year. (First and last pictures I added are the plushies I ended up leaving with. Just in love with the crab.)

I remember going here as a kid, and it's pretty cool that I'm now taking my own son here as well. You won't find more knowledgeable staff around than here. If you're looking for Bruder, Brio or Playmobil, you can't go wrong with the amazing selection, they have so much in stock and are willing to look for things they don't. Prices are on par or lower in many cases than online. Please support local! Would give more stars if possible, highly recommend.

I wanted a blue teddy bear for a new baby, they had an amazing sel it was hard to chose, and the the lady was very help. They have every toy imaginable I'll defiantly go back.

Such a cute store!The staff memeber that helped us today was absolutely lovely.So pleasant and very helpful while we we're trying to buy a gift.This is the second time we've been in and both times we've had a great experience!

Incredible experience, as a plush collector they have ALL the brands. Douglas, Nat and Jules, kosen, steiff and more. Amazing selection and so many!! I bought a beautiful tiger. Ty!!

As a n*** who collects prehistoric animal toys, The Toy Shop never disappoints. They have a wide variety of toys from Safari Ltd and Collecta, sold at reasonable prices and with friendly service. Big brand, chain stores are no match

I walked in tasked with buying gift for 20 children aged 4 months-13 years. The staff at the store were able to show me a variety of toys and select the perfect gift for each child. They took time to ask questions, and make suggestions. My ALL DAY task was completed in less than an hour and under budget. They took the stress out of Christmas shopping and reminded me how fun toys can be! Thank you very much Jean & Staff. I will be back next year!!
