I went in as a novice runner looking for my first real pair of running shoes and Neil was so kind and helpful. He showed me several options and walked me through the pros and cons in such a welcoming and professional way. I went away from there not only with awesome fitting shoes but a better understanding of what shoes could do for me.

My kids and I walked into Running Room with a list of recommended shoes, specified in "D" (wide) width, by our pedorthist. We needed a pair that would accommodate custom-made orthotics and yet would still feel comfortable and stable, with room left enough for toes to wiggle a bit, and the heel snuggly fitted, meanwhile. Buying shoes that fit orthotics was a new experience for us!As we entered, we were greeted right away by Dave, one of the district managers, who listened to all the names and models we listed, and then quickly went to check on availability in the back room. He seemed confidently familiar with everything we listed! Then, he gathered every pair possible, brought them to us, and helped us fit the orthotics inside so we could try on each pair.Dave was attentive, polite, knowledgeable, and very patient. His experience with the various makes and models, plus their general history of performance, and their warranties really helped us in making our final choice. From beginning to end, our first visit at Running Room was positive!As a shopper, I'd like to point out 3 things that I liked about Running Room, Peterborough:1. Experienced staff2. Wide variety in makes/models--the "D" width is hard to find!3. Free parking (right beside the store)Thanks, Dave!

Thank you running room for my cool new On runners. I’ve been staring at them all day. Perhaps to nice looking to wear ? I didn’t catch the employees name, but the gentleman with the glasses…thank you for being so welcoming and helpful. My boyfriend now wants the same pair in men’s, we shall be back!!

I must say the service here is excellent! I went in not as a runner but as a person that needs proper footwear. I now have a great pair of shoes that has relieved all leg and ankle pain. I can be on my feet all day with no pain.
