Metro is a clean store with good produce and some of everything, including a great ethnic aisle. Shopping in store is generally a great experience with great products. Many find the Fresh 2 Go pizza and salad amazing, fresh, and tasty with great portions. However, there are significant criticisms. The prices are quite steep and the highest some customers come across, with price signs noted as too small to see comfortably. A major complaint is the evening self-checkout only policy after 7:30pm, which is described as awful and is losing the store customers. Furthermore, ordering Fresh to Go items for delivery has been problematic, with orders often not confirmed, leaving customers to find other options. While the cashiers are noted as very nice, friendly, efficient, and helpful, these service and pricing issues are prominent in customer feedback.

The prices are quite steep and I found the price signs on the shelves too small to see comfortably. My cashier was very nice, friendly, efficient and helpful.
