“UPDATE: Had a very bad experience here in Aug or Sept. I had to return quite a few clothing items but I had receipts for everything. Cashier was young and very rude. She was more interested in talking to her friend standing beside me at the checkout the whole time. There was zero privacy for me as a customer as this person was totally invading the checkout space. Along with talking to her friend, the cashier acted like I was a huge bother and I was interrupting her conversation and she was not friendly or kind at all. To make matters worse, the cashier next to her who was much older kept staring me down and giving me dirty looks like I was doing something wrong. I did return quite a few items, however tags were all on each item and all items were in perfect condition and I had all receipts. My original purchase was over $350 and I was told at time of purchase that the return policy is excellent and returns can be done at any time so not to worry if I needed to return anything. I came to find out that this is definitely not the case. They treat you like you've committed a crime if you need to do returns. You would think when you spend that amount of money that returns should not be an inconvenience or an issue at all. I've never had that kind of rude, unprofessional experience ever before from sales staff. Makes me never want to shop at this location again!

“Stopped in for a home Depot ornament and Trinity not only told me where they were but walked by to the location. Then when I decided to get a dozen she showed me where the hand baskets were.
This is what retail was when I was a manager and I'm so glad to see this kind of customer service still in practice.”

“Store is clean and well stocked, staff are friendly and helpful when requested. The only "negative" point I have is that getting out of the store is a hassle if you don't buy anything. You still have to wait in line just to get to a spot where you can exit the store. There is a man door at automotive, but is a controlled exit where the gate needs to be remotely unlocked by an automotive employee (who is/was tied up with customers). While I understand that it is to deter theft, there still should be some sort of free flowing 'lane' that can be used to exit the store without merchandise. I also realize this is not just an issue at just Canadian Tire, as most larger stores have the same setup/issue.”

“Everything is $1.25 in Dollar tree, unlike dollarama. The friendly staff, I have nothing to complain about that. However, such low price also leads to the lack of selection. I would not mind to pay extra dollar or two for the better quality goods.”

“The friendliest staff I've ever met, I was super shy to ask but a customers service staff member approached me to ask if I had a question and I was in need of boxes to help me move and a lady( I forgot to get her name) but she offered to give me the boxes she found that she was going to use for herself and she was so sweet and even gave me a little extra box. She said she worked there and that she was just getting off shift. Even though she was off the clock she helped me, that was so sweet of her. A young man helped me as well and offered to help me get some more boxes, and helped get them in my cart. Im so overwhelmed with the amount of care your team has.
