“The Best Warm Lighting I've Seen in a Church. The All-Brown with the warm lighting in the church creates a very intimate & warm atmosphere. So effective. So nice. Great first experience here. It was nice speaking & having cookies with the long-time parishioners here. I had a tour with the Chief of the Board here. Very friendly old man.The old women here really LOVE the elevators. Haha! ?”
“Wonderful Experience. The people are very friendly. I love how the choir wears like Harry Potter attire. That's very cool. The mass is very tall from the inside & feels spatious. That really provides presence and atmosphere. The hymns are simple, nice, & easy to sing. The kids conversation is quite long & the length may be too much. Keep it short would be better. There is many classrooms & a venue there which is nice. Just simple & resourceful. Great fellow attendees there, very friendly. It's a great feeling attending this church. Also, this was the first church I've been to that makes the Our Father into a hymn. Great experience.”
“Cool Band Trumpets.
This is the first church that I went to where they play as an actual band where everyone has a trumpet. Wow! It was loud in here. I love the white Salvation Army Uniforms they wear. Just a cool spot. This is the downtown church in Peterborough that you never heard of before. It's low key even while being in Downtown Peterborough, haha! At first, I thought it was a church for only police officers or police trainees but no, that's just the Salvation Army uniforms. Very friendly woman I met from Newfoundland. Im excited to see the finished chapel. Cool.”

566 Armour Rd, Peterborough“my experience at this church has always been a positive one for myself, husband and little girl. we have many great memories in and around this church for the past 5 years. we came to know some amazing people. we have donated food, clothing, toys and many hours of our time helping out for activities held at the church. however one incident with a member of the church has left our family feeling upset, angry and very disapointed and discouraged at the way we were treated. we had a very sick and injured bird we tried to save but despite everything she passed away. our first thought was to bury this bird in the back lot under a tree at our favorite church and say a prayer for her. our daughter was so upset but was happy and proud of herself to be doing this. a man claiming to be the warden of the church screamed at us to get off the property. was instantly very disrepectful and incredibly rude and arrogant.called us liars that we are involved in the church. representing the church in this way is so sad. we no longer feel welcome. very disapointing”
“Peterborough City Church has been intrinsic to my faith in God.There have been a few changes in location over the years, due to covid and other things. But one thing remains true at this church. The teaching is sound, and the people love Jesus.I remember the first year I attended Peterborough City Church. I was a new Christian and had a lot of fears surrounding God. And so many times when I went to church on Sunday, it was like I could breathe again. This church taught me about God’s love for us. That God doesn’t give up on people. What it means to believe in, to trust Jesus. About having a relationship with God. About what sin actually is.The people are also incredibly warm and welcoming.I definitely recommend Peterborough City Church.”
