I normally always worked on my own cars. I spent 7+ years in Ontario for work and did not have access to my garage and tools. I met Artie by chance at a local pub and we immediately hit it off. Not only did Artie work on my vehicle but I spent many hours at his garage whilst he worked on customer vehicles. I can unequivocally testify to the honesty and quality of Artie’s work. He is the kind of person that will not upsell you two struts if you only need one. With automotive repair, the news is never good. I can guarantee you that the costs are largely driven by the cost of parts and the inadequate maintenance design on the part of the manufacturer. Why make you buy a new drive shaft when all you need is a u-joint, thank you Honda. Having worked in automotive repair and working on my own vehicles for many years, I can attest that you will never find a more honest shop than Art-e-motive.

I recently brought my 2016 Elantra in to the shop with concerns about loud squealing in the back tires. The issue was diagnosed within the afternoon and I was told the tires simply need replacing soon - the issue had been the tire drum. There was no charge for the diagnosis. I was very happy with my experience there.

I have been taking our Kia Rio and Ford Ranger there for about a year or so.Fantastic service every time. Only had one issue with them ever, and they completely made it right.Excellent customer service from the gentlemen working the desk, and so far, the work done on the vehicles is the best I've had in the Petawawa/Pembroke area.

My daughter was completely ripped off. She went in for a simple winter tire change and was told she needed front brakes they changed her $784, the next day she started the car, made it to Tim Hortons where it died. She called them and they said she needed a battery, charged her $543 for a battery! She is a single mom, my husband had to lend her the money. How do these people live with themselves!

We're from out of town, had our car towed here recommendation of my brother in-law, Art went out of his way to stay late until my car was fixed (alternator), you don't realize how much we appreciated this great service!

Called them on a Friday because my tires were leaking air, They managed to get me in same day, They did the work quick and it fixed the problem, Very trustworthy shop And charged me under what the competition Could do it for. All in all Highly recommend this place.Service: Tires
