On Sunday October 20th I played my 1st & last round at The Oaks of St. George.
I had a 1:48pm tee time, more than enough time to get a round in right? Well, I was informed that my tee time was pushed back to 2:30pm due to morning fog. There was 12 golf carts lined up at the first tee prior to my tee time.
On top of that, on hole 13 at 5:55pm we were told the gates are closing at 6:15pm and we could be locked in for the night. Are you serious?? So not only did we not finish our round we were told to go home.
No refund, was charged full price (No fall rates or even twilight pricing), was not told ahead of time that our tee time would be delayed even though they knew from the moment they opened.
Greens were sandy, covered in leaves, pace of play was horrendously slow, waited 7-10 mins per tee box, just brutal. Value is poor at best.
Terrible customer service, terrible communication, terrible rates..
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this course. PLENTY of other courses all around that area to play.

Greens were in great shape, gentleman in the Proshop was really nice but there’s a lot of weeds throughout pretty much all the fairways, tees and rough. Overall decent shape

Course was nice. Traps were full do water.
Greens were good. Restaurant did not have a cook but they had hit dogs and sausages.

Some great golfing holes and layout but worn condition. Bunkers unraked and plenty of pitch marks. Pace of play way too slow for me to return unfortunately. 4hr 40 mins for 18 holes is ridiculous. 4 hours is plenty for 18 holes.

Terrible experience. Stuck behind a tournament (no big deal) however the round took 5.5hrs as the groups in front of us continually stopped to talk to their friends on other holes. We then had to wait for 20 mins on the 18th fairway while 8 members of the tournament had a chip off on the 18th hole.
No marshalls at any time to speed anyone up. At what point one member of the slow group in front of us told us to play through since the rest of his group were having a convo with their other groups rather than playing. After we hit our balls they then drove past us and played the hole out and we were once again stuck behind the group.
Will not go back

Absolutely awful experience, hounded by the Marshalls at every hole for apparently going to slow. The group behind us were nowhere near at anytime through the 18 holes, toilets are in terrible shape, clubhouse is a shed. We will never return to this place, absolutely disgusting and overpriced.

A lovely course with good fairways and true greens. I do not recall any of the holes that are mirrors of each other. There are trees and ponds and hills and lots of challenges but it's still very doable. Friendly staff.

Bitter older gentleman for carts today, player assistant does not help pace of play & does not conversate with any golfers, also no cart girl all day. Great course maintenance, just need some customer service training through management positions.
Fourth time out this year to this course alone, not based on one time.
