Where you go if you want to be amazed with groceries. Tad expensive but worth every single penny. I love this place and shop here all the time. Fresh food they have is delicious and they have so much neat stuff there for decent prices.
I bet you could do all your Christmas shopping there. I might try.

Great store but horrible staff. Got a price issue? We won't fix it? Got a bigger issue? Oh, we'll just relay it to the manager... What a joke of a grocery store... U got 3 ppl to run checkout on a whole store and no one with the courtesy or intelligence to help a customer....

If I buy a sliced loaf on a Wednesday afternoon and see no markdowns anywhere (2 different brands and types one of bread a raisin and one whole wheat) I expect it to be fresh and not discover afterwards that it has a best before date 3 days later. Very poor indeed especially as they are the most expensive place around Apparently you now have to check the dates on everything as the store certainly doesn't.

We went to Sobeys in Paris on Saturday to the fresh meat/seafood counter . The young boy who was working there I wish I had got his name was fantastic. We purchased mussels and he went through every single one for 2 pounds worth and checked each and every one to make sure we were getting live ones didn't just dump the bag into the plastic one and then packed them in ice for us. You have a great employee there Sobeys treat him well. Thanks again for the extra care.

Bought Prime rib steaks today at Sobeys.
Very disappointed. Took the time to cook them over carcoal on the kamado grill and the result were one chewy piece of beef. Not sure I understand why as prime rib is one of the best cuts but this didn't measure up!!
