Dereck is very reliable, even in his busiest times he has valued me as a customer and fit me in. He has done the most honest work I've seen and always thoroughly explains what the problem is and whether it is worth repairing or not. He has the experience for any issue! Had an appointment today early morning to get my lock cylinder fixed in my Volkswagen Beetle & I am so happy that I came here to get it replaced. The owner has a lot of knowledge about VW’s. Happy that I found a honest & reliable mechanic to work on my Beetle! I will be a returning customer in the future. :)

I asked for a consultation on my older model diesel vw. He said he would only preform a safty diagnotsic on it for 150$ wich involves almost an hour of taking apart the brakes. I dont need my brakes pointlessly taken apart, so i say "no i dont want that service, can you please just put 75$ worth of time to look at the car?" He says "no i will do only a safty diagnostic for 150 or nothing. I have 40k a year overhead in expenses and i cant be wasting my time." Okay, i guess i will go waste some other mechanics time at 150$/hr

Dereck from Caledon Motors is a very friendly guy but don't let that fool you. He sets up customers by fixing their vehicles so that they have to keep coming back and he do not take responsibility for anything. He just keep cashing in. Custtomer should be aware of this! I am not a disgruntle ex employee. I am a customer who went back 4 times! Ann

Brought our VW Beetle there several times over a period of 2 months, inclusive of $2,000 worth of parts and service. Our last visit there resulted in being charged for a service that we did NOT authorize Derek to do. Instead of refunding the labour after admitting it was his mistake that he proceeded with a job we didn't agree too, he advised he would give us a free oil filter next time. So let me get this straight Derek, $100 for labour that you were not authorized to do, but you'll give us a $10 oil filter??? GIVE ME A BREAK. Mechanics who do work that is not authorized should be fined. AVOID THIS MECHANIC, you'll end up with overage charges you didn't approve on your credit cards!
