Went in to buy dish soap and was in there for more then 5 minutes standing at cash register while the lady was on the phone.I understand if talking to a customer but it was transfered while I was standing there.I asked while she was still on the phone if I could leave $8 (as i looked up the total before walking over) and she could keep the change.She did not apologize or give an answer of any sort. She typed in her password and proceeded to scan the two items I had, it came to about $0.20 under $8 and instead of hanging up the phone she still proceeded to take my money and just stand there for another minute, so as I was annoyed I walked out with her holding my money and saying they need better customer service. (Left the very undeserved "tip")Another time one of the employees stood up for a crack head that spit at my partner and threw a punch at him (because his bike fell on him when we opened the front door of our building) in the early morning of leaving for work.They witnessed the whole thing and called the cops on two working citizens, to get US charged. (the os police even made a joke of it and told us to just contact them and they'll take care of any unwelcomed guests in our entry way)If you NEED to go to rexal please save your time and go to one of the other two. For the first time being in that store location, we wont return, I'd rather walk across town in a blizzard.-MatnTam

One of the cashiers is getting a bit chummy by commenting on my purchases. We're not friends and I don't appreciate you yapping about my purchases. It would also be nice to go in there and not have to go hunting for someone to help me.

Very courteous, friendly, and professional staff. Don't believe any of the negative review(s) written here. They are respectful to people i.e. not judgemental or bigoted/racist. The driver who delivers medications doesn't know about whether or not the medication is covered. That is a fact. That is also private information that only the pharmacist would know about. The privacy act for any medications that may be covered under a drug plan. The pharmacist on duty and the staff on the floor are always knowledgeable about the products that they carry including medications and i.e. skin creams. etc. Been coming to this location for many, many years. Highly recommend! :)

i'm not fan of the store due to the pharmacist telling me a med was not covered by ODSP when it was and it's to late get my money back now and so now that I've moved to shoppers drug mart i have no problems and they let me know what's paid for and what's not all I've got to say is check other place see if med are covered or might end up paying 89 dollars might need later in the month and I feel they don't care about people just like ripping you off people who have all ready got it hard in life.

I love going to Pharma + to have all of my prescriptions filled. The 2nd Ave. East staff are so friendly and helpful.
I also like buying nose tissue there and chocolates for all my girlfriends ;)
