Very disappointed with the service here. I was recommended to come here from another mechanic to have work done on my Mercedes Benz. I had an issue with my tensioner, pullies, and serpentine belt that needed to be fixed.
After paying for a diagnostic I had to wait 2 weeks for an available time slot and for parts. I was told up and down that I needed ALL pullies done with the tensioner at the same time.
When I brought my car in for the repair job, I was assured that all pullies, the tensioner, and serpentine belt were being replaced. I also confirmed that they would be putting clips on my car for the bumper because the front end had a few clips missing.
When the job was done in 45 minutes, I confirmed again that everything was done and was told YES, and that new clips were installed aswell.
Within 24 hours my car sounded worse then before. I looked under the hood to find that my belt and tensioner were replaced, but I still had the same rusty pullies from the factory 14 years ago.
I called them back to ask what happened, and I was informed that the mechanic didn't fix the pullies as they "didn't need to be changed" which was not the agreement, and was NOT disclosed to me prior to leaving the shop. I need to add that I was told the entire job was going to cost me $190 prior to the work being done ($100 deductible from my warranty) but I have no clue what the other $90 was for as no parts were put in my car that weren't covered by warranty.
I was then told that I would not be able to have my car looked at until the 29th of October, and I would have to pay for the part.
Since then I had an emergency situation happen and needed the car in running order. I took it to another mechanic in town and they were shocked to find out that the pulley that was not fixed and said to be totally fine, was actually loose and the bearings were shot.
I really had high hopes for this shop, but unfortunately I made the mistake of telling them I didn't know alot about German cars, and that put money signs over my head.
I'm an honest guy working hard to pay and fix a 14 year old car, take care of 2 households, and take care of my very sick partner, the last thing I needed was to play games with money I don't have, with a dishonest mechanic who wants to keep me in the shop.

Brought in my 2018 Audi s5 with climate control issues. Before confirming the appointment I asked what the diagnostic charges would be and was told if it was just checking codes then I wouldn’t be charged unless the mechanics had to go internal to the vehicle. After some time I was given a summary of the error codes from a scan tool with no path forward other than going to the dealer. When I asked if the mechanics checked for anything beyond the scan tool (which takes 5 minutes), I was told no and was charged $150. I have no issue paying for people’s time and expertise, but I felt misled over the phone and still no solution to my issues.

The folks at Georgian Bay Motors were able to have a look at my Macan immediately after I called to let them know my issue. I was stuck 3 hours away from home and truly appreciated them checking my car right away, ordering the needed part asap, arranging an alignment, and getting my car back to me as soon as possible. Super friendly, trustworthy, professional, fairly priced, can't say enough about the service I received!!!!

I am very pleased by the quality of their customer service and their flexibility to accommodate pressing needs. They sure do understand their customers and strive to meet those needs reasonably. Not to be impartial to other mechanic shops out there but this in all my experience is my favourite so far!

They are fantastic. CEL on my 2012 Mercedes was telling us that an O2 sensor was bad. They checked for service bulletins and found the real cause for the CEL. They researched an alternative repair to the outrageous price and approach that Mercedes specified. These folks know their stuff and look out for their customers best interest.
