i used to love shopping here. unfortunately the last 3 times i have went in after work, i have been accused of stealing. this last time, they offered to bag for me and i told them it was okay but thankyou. i set my bag on the register, another woman was standing there.. she GRABBED my bag and started looking through it.. i told her if she would have just asked, i could have shown her inside my bag, she doubled down and grabbed it back and continued to ask if i had paid for the items in my bag (my makeup? lunch container?) nothing was from that store. i asked if she was the manager and she said yes i am, i told her ill be contacting HR and she continued to tell me with a nasty attitude “ill be making them aware aswell”. i said it was completely inappropriate to grab my belongings and start searching through them. i felt very uncomfortable & explained to her that this has gone too far & it felt extremely accusatory. i left there feeling like i had done something wrong

Wiarton foodland is charging 66 cents for a cob of corn, which I thought was crazy.
But Owen Sound out crazied crazy by charging 99 cents a cob!
The owners must be saving up for an extra special place in Hell.

Not my first choice. I find things generally more expensive. They ALWAYS have their sale products in stock so I do frequent for sales.

Like there baked goods ...like cakes ...tarts etc..this day purchased a vanilla cake and it was soooo dry ...meaning wasn't fresh..had the same product before and super moist ...

A lot of the staff are very unfriendly and prices are higher than other local grocery stores. I try not to go here if I don’t have to.

I ordered a cake for my mom's 80th birthday, it was fabulous, so moist, so well decorated and the icing was delicious (not the usual so sweet you choke from most places) I would highly recommend and thank you

Pricing is ridiculously high compared to every other store in town, store layout is trash, and u need bags but can't bring bags in store unless u want to leave ur bag up at the front as if u want to be robbed by other customers or employees will not be returning as a lifer townie

I love this store. Employees are helpful, many products that you can choose from. You could not find some products which you will have in GTA stores. Overall a nice place to shop.

Lovely store, great selection but prices are ridiculous. Also, When you spend obscene amount of money on lettuce then make a salad the next day & its like rubber its hard not to be angry....thats the last time!
