I genuinely feel bad for the old guy at the counter, I really hope he finds his peace someday.
Big sign on door that says washroom is for “paid” customer only. I had a full tank but desperately needed to pee. So I went in there and bought some snacks. I treated the fella at the counter with nothing but respect and asked nicely to use the washroom, to which he replied, “only one out of the two of you can use the washroom”, followed by an uncontrollable rage rant about how people treated him badly so that he is doing the same to people. What people? There’s only two of us here. He proceeded to throw me out the door right after. Nicely done.

Had to stop over here for a quick fuel recharge on my drive back home to Toronto from Tobermory. The highlight was the lady at the counter, she was so polite and nice that it brightened my mood a little after 2 hours of a non-stop tiring drive. The store is also big, with the usual supplies. A happy break on a long trip.

The entire process when I messed up the fuel counter number was cool as a breeze. The guy over there really helped very much.

Open late, right on the main highway if you forgot to check your fuel before starting your trip. Very easy self service and friendly staff
