Handy weekend parking spot. It used to be free on weekends but not now. $8 max on weekends.

Ample but typically expensive parking. Some of the main doors are locked in the late afternoon, making access more difficult. (Post-pandemic) eateries are somewhat scarce.

They don't have the whales anymore ?, at least as far as I could see. The new reno looks good and clean but I want the whales back. FYI the best dentist in the world has his office here too.

Lovely building, but atrocious use of the yellow tripping hazards known as "Slippery, Wet Floor" signs. At the top of stairs. At the bottom of stairs. Blocking access to handrails. Blocking your way as you enter the building. Blocking your way as you exit the building. Blocking your way as you exit the elevators. Blocking your way as you enter the elevators. And, it doesn't even have to be wet outside. They are actually more dangerous than the snowbanks, slush and black ice that may be outside. Inside we expect an unobstructed path.

The World Exchange Plaza is a striking architectural landmark in downtown Ottawa. It is a modern, multi-use complex that combines office spaces, retail establishments, and dining options. The building’s design reflects contemporary architectural trends and incorporates elements that contribute to its visual appeal.

Seems to have lost some of its appeal I recent years. Perhaps once the annoying construction is done with, the place might regain some, all or more of its enchantment.
