I recieved some help finding ingredients for what I was cooking and found everything I needed and then some! The cuts also looked SO good and the price was very reasonable!! The house made chips at check out are also ? ??

I really want to give this place a better review as the staff is really friendly and it’s close to me but I’m constantly disappointed with the inconsistent quality of the meat.

I was looking for chicken fat (shwmatlz) and asked wellington buchery to buy them. The store staff looked for all distributors in Ottawa and told me they couldn't find the selling line for chicken fat. However they looked for Toronto distributor I could contact to ask for. Even if my request couldn't be their one of the business woks anymore, the store spent time and efftort for me to find the available distributor. Super fantastic customer service!!

No doubt great quality meat however charging $55 for 3 chicken kebabs is just not ok.

The food here is so tasty! Recently re-purchased a chicken pot pie and as usual it’s perfectly filled and absolutely delicious! Don’t forget to buy a bag of cookies on the way out! ??

While walking along Wellington Street in Ottawa, we discovered this butchery. The store was busy but was well staffed. We browsed around and found the store well organized and clean. They had many different assortment cuts of meat to suit all types of one's budget. We bought some bison burgers and steaks. We bbq'd the steaks the next afternoon, and they were tender and so yummy.What impressed us was the service, and the owner approached us and asked if we had any questions. It was nice to actually see the owner taking an interest in the customers.We will be visiting this fine butchery again.
