My mom and I had a great experience with Stacey and Tallia at this location. Both girls were so lovely and very helpful and even went as far as to place the very heavy table we purchased into the car for us! It was a Super dooper experience:)

Purchased pillows at this store that were on sale. At point of purchase the salesperson/cashier gave no indication that the items were "final sale". There was no signage indicating "final sale". Six days later I returned with the pillows, on which there was a discount of about $3-$4. I was told I could not return the pillows. I explained that no one had said it was final sale.
The salesperson pointed to the area where the item was sold from with other items on sale. I pointed out there was no signage indicating "final sale". The sales person then told me there was a small sign beside the cash that explained the final sale rule. I took a moment to read the lengthy fine print on this small sign. What the salesperson told me had not been truthful; the sign did not say anything about a final sale. The sales person then told me the back of my receipt said final sale. I had the receipt in my hand and on the back of the receipt it did not say it was a final sale. Again, the salesperson was either not truthful or did not know about the return policy or how it was to be communicated. The sales person then told me on the small sign beside the cash there is a QR code. If I had scanned the QR code at the time of purchase and read through all the policies on the website, then i would have known it was a final sale and also items ending in a price of $.97 are a final sale but items ending in a price of $.99 are not a final sale. Again, this 99 v. 97 was not communicated to me nor written anywhere in the store.
After providing me with information that was not truthful the sales person continued to refuse to return the product or to offer a store credit. I left the pillows behind and received nothing. Now this store has both my money and the product. Extraordinarily poor customer service and total failure to communicate the "final sale" policy.
I googled whether it was even legal to refuse to return a product esp. with failing to communicate the final sale issue. While not illegal to refuse a return, it is recognized to be a bad business practice (particularly when not communicated).
Do not buy anything at this store unless you take the time to look around the store for the QR codes, scan them and read all of the fine print.
A good alternative is Mobilia on Merivale.

I just visited Urban Barn, and it was amazing! The atmosphere in the store is fantastic, and the service is top-notch — the staff is very friendly and attentive.
I’m looking for a sofa and was pleasantly surprised by how great the couches are in the store. I really liked them, and the prices are quite reasonable. I also found some wonderful pillows that will perfectly complement my decor. I will definitely come back here to make my selection!
The color palettes are simply stunning, and I think those colors suit me perfectly. I want to choose something from this color range. Additionally, the artwork in the store is impressive — good pieces that can serve as excellent accents in any space. While I’m not sure if I’ll choose something specific, if I decide to buy a sofa, I’ll definitely consider the option of purchasing some artwork as well.
Overall, Urban Barn has become an excellent shopping destination for me, and I’m looking forward to my next visit!

I always love going into Urban Barn. Their products are contemporary and generally well priced. Shopping there is my guilty pleasure. (I bought the pillows and the throw. )

Stacy & Shannon provided excellent service. They were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped me with the ordering process and kept me up to date with my order.
Though dealing with customer care was a terrible experience, the service I received from the store associates really made up for it, which is why I am still giving 5 stars.

While the shopping experience was okay, our post purchase support has been lackluster. We bought Barkley chairs from here less than a year ago for our dining room table, and we recently noticed a small tear forming near the seam. After noticing this, I reached out to their customer service team and rather than offering to repair or replace the item in question, I was offered 10% back or 15% of the purchase price on an Urban Barn gift card.I am not happy and will not be bringing back my business to Urban Barn.

Bad Cusomer service! Bought a pouf online, receive an email saying ready for pick up. Did a 30 min drive from Gatineau to pick up my order. At the store my order is no where to be found. There was the same pouf on the floor so said to the employee (after waiting à long time) that there was one on display on the floor and that i could just take this one but she refused. I had to leave the place without my order.Received a call today (day after) asking me to come and pick it up "we have found it" they say.. So asked them if they could deliver since i figure it was not my responsibility to go back to have my pouf but they refused!And don't try to call customer service (support) because you can't, you have to write them an online message to reach them and God knows when they get back to you!!!

The customer service at the store was great, Mai was very helpful. We bought a sofa 4 months ago and the seats cushions already collapsed and we barely use it. The fabric is also cheap!!! I send an email to the store with pictures of the sofa and was told by Shannon that she couldn’t see any damages by looking at the picture. Also, when the sofa was delivered One of the legs had deep scratches. Very disappointing, stay away from Urbanbarn. We spent a lot of money to receive an email saying there nothing we can do….What about the one year warranty on the sofa?
