Thompsons not only offers a gorgeous and extensive line of the highest quality of jewellery, but also offers a top-notch customer experience. Everyone there is extremely knowledgeable and kind and will greet you with expertise and friendliness. I have had the pleasure to work with their designers and fully understand their passion and knowledge around their field and am extremely pleased and impressed with the services that they provide. You should also be sure to check out their estate jewellery if you are looking for a piece with lots of character and some history. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Walked in to get some help regarding the sticky bezel on an Orient diver I purchased elsewhere.
The owner was extremely kind and offered to take a look at it for me. He took the watch to the back and lubricated the bezel for me free of charge, solving my issue.
Afterwards, I took a look at the selection of used watches. Each of them was in fantastic condition and very fairly priced.
I'd certainly recommend Thompson Jewellers to others and I'll definitely make a purchase there in the future.

Derek and Talin and the whole team are consistently AMAZING to work with! They go out of their way each and every time to make sure you're happy... the best customer service in Ottawa. They have a client for life! I trust them with my most precious and irreplaceable pieces and what they transformed the pieces in to exceeded all expectations. I can't say enough positive things! They're just the best.

Talin was absolutely amazing to work with. She redesigned a ring which I previously had made elsewhere and turned it into a show piece. I could not be more pleased - it far exceeded my expectations! The entire staff at Thompson Jewellers are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Thompson Jewellers and Talin for designing any jewellery you may want. She listens to what you want and delivers. It’s an amazing store!

I had an amazing experience with Thompson Jewellers from start to finish! I had NO idea what to do with my late mother's wedding bands and Derrick had an idea the minute he saw them! I also wanted to re-do my own wedding set. He combined my mother's set with mine and I so thrilled with the outcome! I definitely recommend them. Everyone in the store is so kind as well. Took my partner's engagement ring here to be recast after the previous jeweler had been unable to resize it to our satisfaction. Derrick was great throughout the whole process, reassuring us that the ring would turn out looking perfect, and he was absolutely right. The ring looked even better than the night when I proposed. Would highly recommend coming here for any ring-related needs or issues.

I brought in some older jewelry and spoke with Talin about designing a brand new piece utilizing some of the best elements from my existing pieces. She spoke with me about my preferences and she designed a beautiful creation, provided a mock up and reviewed that with me. She then contacted me when the finished piece was ready. I was so impressed with the quality and artistry, the piece looked just like the mock up design and is truly an original piece of art that I will proudly wear. It is beautiful, eclectic, unique - a wonderful fitting tribute to my personal journey. I recommend Talin and Thompson’s Jewellers, for their excellent service, talent and quality craftsmanship.

Thompson Jewellers was recommended to me by my parents, who have been going there for years. I have nothing but positive things to say about my and my now fiancé’s experiences working with Talin to design a custom engagement ring. Talin at Thompson Jewellers was exceptional. She had a ring made for me and I was able to use my scraps of gold. I don’t live in Ottawa so everything was done via email. I can’t say enough about the service, the quality, and the craftsmanship. My ring is stunning! I definitely recommend Thompson Jewellers and especially Talin. .

Great experience coming here not knowing a lot about engagement rings. Derrick took the time to make sure I was getting exactly what I was looking for after showing him a few reference photos of rings. He also does not rush you and answers all questions. I will recommend to all family and friends!
