This is my second google review ever which says a lot about how bad the service was at this establishment. I called earlier and asked if they had my product in stock and they simply said “no” which was okay so I chose not to go. I went to a different Best Buy and they had the product but not the color that I wanted. The worker at that best buy checked online and assured me that THIS location had my exact product, color and everything, in stock. So I took a gamble and went. I arrived and the employee was sitting on his phone watching tiktok. I asked if he had it in stock and he just said “no” when I politely asked if he could check online or in the back or anything he answered “I just said no” with so much attitude. He literally could’ve just went to the back and lied saying he “looked for it” and said he didn’t have it in stock but no he just had to give attitude. I was not impressed with the service and will not be coming back here anytime soon.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Anum today for my mobile phone, and Youssef the manager hooked it up with the home internet! They tried their best to hook me up and I am leaving 100000% blessed today!

Best Buy Express is one of my go-to places whenever I need something. The staff are always friendly and approachable, making sure to assist you in every possible way. I truly appreciate their help every time I make a purchase.
I highly recommend this store. The staff are not only helpful but also strive to offer you the best prices.

Probably the worst best buy I have ever visited. Not to say the implicit discrimination by the employee at this establishment. But they're extremely disrespectful towards to the customers. When I trying to purchase an accessory for my phone. The employee simply let me hanging or even skip me to serve the other customer. When I finally trying to checkout my item, the employee was laughing with the customer (presumbly looking down on me). I wouldn't say they're outwardly racist, but they are RACIST towards me. Knowing that they're part of ethnic minority and I identify with to be in minority ethnic group too. By the way they treat me. I don't think they would treat any other customers, especially marginal ethnic background with any other respect. Therefore, PLEASE AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST. IT IS NOT JUST UNPROFESSIONAL, PEOPLE WORK THERE HAVE NO SYMPATHY NOR RESPECT TOWARDS ANY OTHER PEOPLE THAN THEIR BACKGROUND.

Got a webcam for my computer. Would've been nice if I was greeted or asked if I needed help as I was standing by the webcams for a few minutes. When I was paying for the item, the employee didn't say anything like if I found everything I wanted or thanks for the purchase etc

Terrible experience. The staff literally doesn’t want to work. The guy simply denied to play a speaker that was on demo because it was “alot of wires for him”. Highly disappointed. Do not go to this store.

I would like to highlight my exceptionally positive experience at The Source at the Rideau Center, especially the excellent service provided by Ehab. Although the problem with the SIM card we bought from another store was not his responsibility, Ehab was extremely friendly and helpful. He took the time to understand our problem and helped us to resolve it. We were very impressed with his dedication and professionalism. Thank you very much, Ehab, for your excellent support!

I am incredibly annoyed that I even have to give a single star to this store.
My experience was terrible from start to finish. I love supporting businesses in the downtown core, but honestly, it's time for this store to close its doors for good.
I purchased a power bar outlet for $19.00. Initially, I thought the price was inflated, but I convinced myself it was worth it since I needed a power bar. To my dismay, the product was completely useless. The power bar took up two slots in the wall, had six slots, and only two of them were usable. For some reason, four of the slots just wouldn't let plugs enter, and even if they could, there wasn't enough clearance for another plug to fit around the plugs beside and under it. This means I essentially paid $20.00 for an extra wall plug. It is insane that such a product would ever meet the standards of a store in general.
To make matters worse, when I returned to the store to address the issue, the clerks treated me like I was an idiot. They told me, "We're going out of business, we don't do returns." Their attitude was dismissive and rude. They wouldn't even give me store credit, only offering to exchange the product if it was broken. Since it worked perfectly as intended—meaning it worked like a complete piece of garbage—they refused to do anything for me.
I urge everyone to avoid purchasing anything from their so-called clearance section. With this crazy no-return policy and prices not really being at "clearance level," it's not worth being burned by their lack of customer service. I ended up going to the local Giant Tiger and getting a regular power bar for $6.00, which works perfectly. This store is an absolute joke, and I won't be sad to see it go. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

Cashier basically ignored me while talking to other staff, took 4 minutes to ring in one small item that I brought up myself, then without asking me charged extra for the warranty which they get commission on which is scummy.
