Everything we have purchased from the Piggy Market has been delicious, and great quality! Love their sausages, meats, cheeses & baked goods. We have purchased their breads, donuts & pies many times (always so tasty!) and we most recently tried their coconut/apricot bars, which were out of this world. And I feel like a sleeper hit is their homemade chili crisp. AMAZING! I also really appreciate that everything is nut free- as someone with a nut allergy, it's so rare to be able to go into a nice food shop, and be able to get anything I want. Thank you!!

This is a great local haunt that sells more than just meat. Their bread, butter tarts and beef patties are great, but the service isn't the most friendly.

Small grocery/deli shop, got all kinds of stuff, but I only come for the amazing donuts, best in town! The way I understand it they make a batch in the morning, that's it; and they do run out quickly. The donuts are nut/peanut free, and are if the yeast dough variety; very substantial and not too sweet bursting with various flavours. More expensive than your typical run of the mill donut shop but the quality is far superior. Oh a d did I mention nut/peanut free? Nestled in the middle of the Wesboro shopping district in Ottawa, slightly recessed in an alley, this place may be hard to find (Google maps is your friend). I think I forgot to mention nut/peanut free, yeah nut/peanut free.

Bacon is great not water injected and doesn't cook down like store stuff does. I am happy to support these guys as they make good artisanal products that may be a bit more but you are getting way more value. That said their is far too much allspice (at least I think it is allspice) in the Jamaican Patty's and egg rolls.

Very happy to find this place. It was nice to get pastries that taste great and are nut free. We will probably stop there whenever in Ottawa. (Get their brownies and donuts!!)

Love these guys! David Neil and Warren Sutherland are some of the most genuine people you can come across. They make delicious food and soups and their bread and meat and cheese options are terrific.

I did their sausage making class a couple of weeks ago. I created 5 pounds of pork sausage and just tried some last night. Delicious! Dave showed us everything required to make an awesome sausage.

This place is amazing. Try the beef or chicken patties. Also, make sure you try the butter tarts. They have a large selection of meats and sausages, artisinal spices, jams, teas and coffee. This joint is a gem!

Amazing experience making sausages last night. Dave was an excellent instructor. You get 5lb of pork and a huge selections of condiments and spices. You will learn to get casings ready, grind the pork to make yummy fillings and then make delicious sausages.

A really great small meat/deli shop. I took their sausage making class and it exceeded my high expectations. And I left with 18 sausages that I made myself with my seasonings and flavours! Great class! Thanks!
