They weren't open as they were moving their store location, I believe! I wish they updated that on google map so I didn't have to waste my time. Also, it's not the exact location. The exact location is further down beside the traffic light they should update that as well.

I loved the Papery from the first day I stepped in there. It's quiet, cozy, the staff are extremely knowledgeable about their products and willing to take the time to work with you on what you're looking for. Whether it's looking for a good pen to write with, a card for an event, or grabbing some artistic stationary, it's the one stop shop for me.

A great spot to buy art supplies, pens, inks, stationary and gifts for the artistically inclined in your life.
I've always been impressed with helpful and kind staff, they have always answered my questions, made useful suggestions and have pointed me to other locations or alternatives if they don't have what I need, which is rare.
Their current location is a little smaller than their original store, which is currently being repaired, but even the pop-up store is worth a visit.
I've been shopping here for the past four years and will continue to do so. I heartily recommend it over staples or any other big box stores around.

Very disappointed. My purchase of $174 included a mark-up of $40 and tax on this amount.
A simple Canson Mixed Media 60 sheet pad was priced at $16.95.
The larger version of exactly the same product sells for $9.97 at Walmart.
The inks were priced at $22.95.
Price at a competitor is 17.95.
Of course an inflation of price is expected at a specialty store.
$40 overpriced plus tax is a steep curve. A mark-up of 6.95 on the paper alone.
You won't see me shop at a Papery again even if the products are lovely eye-candy.
Feeling very taken to the cleaners.
Lesson learned.
Shop around.

I walked into the store and started looking around, while i was browsing the two employees in the store were talking, continued talking, didn't even acknowledge me. I don't spend money at stores that don't have good customer service, was very weird and seemed almost rude considering it was only me in the store, they just continued talking while i turned and walked out.
