I am so happy that the Gifted Type pulled through the difficulties of COVID-19 because this shop is integral on Elgin. Always a selection of fun, interesting and unique products. It's easy to find gift for anyone and there is always new products to look at!

the stuff here is a little more expensive than going to the Mall or whatever but i hate the Mall and this place is so cute. i love a little novelty store. they have a lot of thoughtful items that you can give to your friends :)

Great selection of unique cards for special events, and lots of interesting and novel gifts for adults and kids alike. A decent selection of stationary related items as well. Staff is very friendly. Definitely worth a stop in.

Very happy to find this place today. They have a unique selection of cards and novelty items. Also a coincidental observation- the staff care about the community around them and will take a moment to try and connect struggling individuals with appropriate care. Overall a great, kind and fun vibe. I enjoy supporting businesses like these and will definitely be back!

This store is very cute and exactly what you'd expect from a shop for gifts. It was a nicely curated collection without being cluttered or overdone. It was accessible enough with a stroller. The staff I met was super friendly and helpful, that leaves me feeling happy to go back!

I go here primarily for cards, but always enjoy browsing whatever fun new items they have in stock! Stationary, puzzles, plant supplies, plushies, etc. Always worth a visit

They have free local delivery which was super convenient. I was able to get a last-minute valentine's gift and it was super easy. Very happy with everything!
