If I could give this place 0 stars, that would still be too high of a rating. My first issue with this place happened before I ever even stepped foot in the place. I called a couple of times after my son had been after me that he wanted jalebis. After calling a few places, this one seemed to be one of the more reasonably priced places in the city that actually had them available. I called twice that day. Once to ask the price and then later around 5pm to ask if they still had fresh jalebis available. Both times that I called, i spelled out the word ‘jalebi’ and asked the lady not to say the word itself because I didn’t want my son to hear and then start asking for them in case we couldn’t get them. At this time, my phone wouldn’t go through the actual phone and kept automatically connecting to the car so she was on speaker. Both times after i specifically said ‘don’t say the word please’, she said it and almost sounded like she had a smirk on her face as if it was something funny. I got annoyed but still went because, again, they were one of the only places that had them available that day. I also specifically asked if they were fresh. Fresh means made that day. She said ‘yes they are fresh.’ I got there and asked them again, are they fresh? They said ‘yes, of course theyre fresh! I asked if they were made that morning. They responded with ‘of course not, we can’t make them everyday. Not sure how a day old jalebi can be considered to be ‘fresh’ but still, I still bought a small amount to try. They told me they were made the day before. I also spoke to the woman that was picking up my call and told her that there was a reason that I kept spelling it out and specifically saying not to say the word itself. She just laughed and told me ‘i didn’t think you knew what you were talking about so I was saying the word for you. I very kindly told her that I knew exactly what I was talking about, I have my son in the car and I didn’t want him to know what I was calling for (no, he wasn’t alone, he was sitting in the car with my mother). Anyways, I got in the car and had a small bite with my mom and let me say that these were by far one of the worst places I’ve ever had a jalebi in. It was rubbery and chewy and just overall horrible. They were not made ‘the day before’. They seemed to have been AT LEAST 2-3 days old, if not more. As quickly as my son wanted and was craving jalebis, he saw these, took one bite and put it into the fridge saying he would eat it later and hasn’t asked for jalebis again since then. Thankfully I didn’t buy many but this was still a total waste of my $12.

There was an employee-Viv, she served us with patience and care. I got a nut and sweet gift set. She prepared it very nicely. Thanks Viv. The one star I deducted is for the playlist. It’s a Bangladeshi fine dining; but they were playing hindi songs all the time . we visited 3 days and never heard a single Bengali song . That’s disappointing. Bengali song has huge variety also it represents our culture. As a prominent Bangladeshi franchise in Canada they must take the opportunity to introduce Bangladeshi culture internationally as much as possible .

I went here back in 2014-15, and their samosas were the best I've had! I went back to get more the same day because they were perfectly seasoned and priced really well!Recently, I tried their samosas, they had the big size available which were $2.50/ea and got some spicy fried strips. The samosas were not filled enough and the filling was not seasoned at all, not even enough salt let alone spices. Additionally, it was super oily and I felt sick throughout the day. I have no problem with suffering, as long as the flavour hits! ?It makes me sad because they were once so so delicious but with what they're selling now, I wouldn't go back nor recommend their place.

Normally, this place has variety of sweets and samosas, pakoras. This time my experience was not good as it was the main occasion and I purchased stuff from them. Before diwali I purchased samosas from them, I specially asked them if they are fresh. They said yes because I need to get it for guests. And then I found in 3 samosas, there was a leftover sabzi(black color) in the samosas. I was totally embarrassed in front of my guests.

Beautiful Indian sweets. We took home one of everything to try. My husband is particular so didn't like a few. I am a sweets lover of all sorts and could find something enjoyable in every single one! The lady who served me was lovely. Thank you
