My daughter rwo grandson and myself were at Bayshore on Saturday. It was my daughter's birthday. We had pick up a mall cart. when we got into the store this person yelled " you can't bring that in the store.. She repeated this and was pointing att my younger grandson who is disabled. I said why not. She sai it is a mall cart get it out of here now. We decided to leave the sroe. My daughter said maybe she shoul let the manager know she just loosr 2 customers. The women yelled " oh managers I just lost2 customers....boohoo". This is completely unexceptional behavior.

Amazing and sweet staff, great selection of candy for sure! All sorts of food from different countries. Funko pops are a tad overpriced, as with some of the common candy they sell there

Worst customer service ever, the girl that works at Bayshore has no manners, rude racist and shouldn’t be working at alllll. Absolutely awful for someone like her to work at a candy store WHWRE lots of kids come in. Has zero manners. Had a bite of something we were going to pay for and literally started tripping out. Ew never going there again.

I remember when the first Sugar Mountain store opened up in Toronto on Queen Street West in 1995. I was literally a kid in a candy store, lol. I remember being in awe of all the candy. I think it was the first time I was in a store dedicated to candy. The business has really grown and has many locations now, but every time I step into a Sugar Mountain, for a fleeting moment, I recapture the magic I felt, so many moons ago ;)This location is inside a mall, as is all locations in Ottawa now (we used to have a standalone store in the Byward Market, but that has long since closed down). The selection is similar to all Sugar Mountains with bulk candies, lots of Jelly Belly flavours, Pez dispensers and lots of imported candies that are harder to find in Canada. Most are imported from the UK. Prices are on the high side. So I refrain from buying candies here that I can get at the drugstore or grocery store for cheaper, but for the rarer candies, I'll occasionally splurge ;)Service is pleasant.

Thanking for letting customers pack their own bag again . Do not go back to letting employees pack them. This way is so much easier for the customer.
