Wrost delivery company in the world

I got guaranteed express delivery. The package arrived late because of mechanical issues "outside of their control." I called for a refund. They refused saying it was "outside of their control." Disappointing. I have received refunds from Canada Post for late arrival on guaranteed items with no issue.

I'd give zero stars but you can't.
Stayed home all day Friday and was told package was undelivered as nobody was home. Well I was home all day and my phone never rang once.
And now I've got to go all the way across town to pick up when I live downtown next to a Purolator pickup Center. Tried calling but that's impossible. What a useless organization.

One star because I cannot go lower. Businesses depend on delivery of goods as per the tracking schedule. The picture attached to this review shows it all.
The package arrived at the Ottawa sorting facility 3 times. That's THREE TIMES. Expected delivery was August 16, 2024. Note the time of the screenshot on the top right.
Why would any of my suppliers rely on Purolator? This will make me rethink the shipping service my POTENTIAL supplier uses.
#VistaPrint is now off my list.

This place is absolutely fantastic. I was extremely satisfied with my visit. The staff is excellent and very friendly. I love that both the atmosphere and the service are top-notch. It’s a perfect spot to sit, relax, or even get some work done, all without any disturbances. Overall, it’s an amazing experience, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Twice now that I get a message to go pick up at location. I don’t understand why other delivery services can drop off packages, but with this Purolator, I have to go pick it up.

I know I bought something large but at least bring it to your delivery vehicle and deliver it to the nearest store for pick up instead of leaving it in your main centre(almost half hour drive). Your website shows me the receiver unavailable but we all know the driver has just been lazy without even trying.

Update July 18, 2024: I was waiting in our lobby as a driver came in and put the "missed you" note in our mailbox. The driver made absolutely NO effort to see if I was home. Officially the worst delivery company around. If we could give them a -5 start rating that would be more then they deserve. They have a 2.5 Google rating. Just pain bad!!!!!
Update: No true followup from management. Continuation of packages being dropped off at 710 rather than 700. Amazon delivery people are far superior. Please arrange for your drivers get trained by the Amazon delivery people. It's sad that the Amazon delivery people are under paid but they deliver. It's really sad to see Purolator drivers being over paid and not delivering.
It's unbelievable how bad the service is. Driver refuses to go to the front door of building. Safe building and good neighborhood. 700 Coronation Ave. Ottawa. Refuses to call. Demands 4 digest # to get access. He still has to use the front door. 4 diget # for unit is plainly visable on call center at entrance. Delivers parcels ment for 700 to 710 next to us and tells the postal delivery guy to bring the package for him. Good thing the postal workers are on the ball.

Absolute zero stars! The worst courier service ever.
These guys just sent my package (a birthday gift!) back to their main depot because of a missing unit address, and deciding to send it back again for almost another week. Any other courier (FedEx/UPS) would easily pass it to the nearest pickup location!
They are killing 5 precious days that I carefully managed to have the gift on time, solely because of a missing unit number, which is not even necessary for holding/picking up. This is all because of their outdated and unreasonable procedures. Please never trust them if you are planning something delicate.

I only had bad experiences with Purolator. They just don't want to drop a package. Since I don't have a way to be reached when they come to deliver, they always leave with my packages and I have to drive for 30 min each way to get them. I am at a point that, if a vendor uses Purolator, I refuse to order.

Hi i just wanted yo say, i don’t ship often with purolator. But i would like to compliment one some of the drivers who deliver to businesses who take the time to chat with the office staff and are friendly. Some names i remember Like Mike Albert, Randy don’t know last name and many more who do the bank and heron routes. I would like to request a call back or email from manager to discuss further thanks a bunch

Absolutely the worst. Claimed they couldn't get into my condo building while I was home, 3 days in a row. Directions on the label. No delivery people other than intelcom or Canada Post (who both got in miraculously) in the lobby camera during 'attempt' time stamps or anytime around that. I called and they offered pickup at the furthest away location they had or a re-route.
I changed the address to work and was told it would arrive next day. Next day scan update that they tendered it to an 'authorized agent' to deliver to my work address.
Called to ask who the 'agent' was, after 45 min on hold they told me they had no idea because they were using hundreds of them because they took more business than they have the resources to handle.
They routinely do this.
Next day: Agent 'attempts' delivery at my work address at 5pm. My work office does not close to the public/for deliveries/pickups until 8pm.
There were about 100 people here at 5pm. Parking lot full of cars, vehicles coming and going. Now my option on xmas eve is to go pick up at the depot on the other side of the city instead of the 2 closest to me or wait for them to return my gf's xmas gift to Amazon.
Absolutely unapologetically garbage. No integrity.
Update May 2024 - getting jerked around with another deliver from not Amazon. so I called to find out why I wasn’t getting attempts.
They claimed their driver doesn’t deliver to my area so the package was given to a third party and an ‘appointment’ of next business day was required. I live in Westboro. Purolator claimed they don’t have a driver in a branded vehicle that goes to Westboro. In Ottawa.
Less than one star.
