“I was certain I left a review the last time I was in!I love this cute little shop! It's been in the neighbourhood for years, and I'm so glad it's still here.I remember as a kid walking past with my mom or grandmother and peeking in the window to see all the odds and ends.This was my 2nd visit, and it was just as lovely as before. Everyone is so friendly and you feel the genuine happiness to share info about the products.I use one of the bird blends for my indoor Finches (with some added fruits and veggies) as well as outdoor, and it's a hit!Today I decided to treat myself to a window feeder, and can't wait till I have the opportunity to get some seeds for it.Will happily return to shop again. ?”
“I can’t say enough fabulous things about this cozy local pet shop! It’s me and my partners favourite pet shop and we always look forward to getting to stop by. Such a fun selection of goodies for your fur babies, our kitty is always excited to see what we got her when we come home. The owner is an absolute angel with a heart of gold, we love getting to chat with her and she’s always so knowledgeable about the products she carries. Cannot recommend this shop enough!”
“Been shopping here for my cats for a year and a bit now. Started to shop here when I was looking for cat food that didn't have chicken as one of my cats is allergic and I exhausted the options at PetSmart, at least the ones my cats would eat regularly. Pet Valu's performatrin Ultra brand has been great, except for the recent (spring 2024) price increase. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend this location to any pet parents. Unfortunately, I will have to see what other food options there are as the performatrin Ultra brand is now quite pricey. Pet Valu HQ's decision, not the store.”

“I purchased three bandanas, two of them for my sister’s dogs. I found out the next day my sister already had the exact bandanas but I had already lost the receipt. The woman at the store was extremely helpful and was kind enough to find my receipt online to help me with the return. I’m very thankful for her help!!”
“By far the best pet store in Ottawa. They have everything you could possibly need for dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and small animals. They take amazing care of the live animals in store, and the staff is always super friendly. We'll done to the owners for keeping this place open through the pandemic. Critter Jungle is an Ottawa treasure!”
“Wow! Wow! Wow! Being impressed with this company, its customer service and satisfaction as well as its product. My pup was hard to fit, and Chilly dogs supported me every step of the way and even sending other sizes at no charge so I could compare to ensure I had the perfect for my dog. Miley looks great, is finally warm and has a jacket that protects her from the elements but allows her to have freedoms of movement. Well worth every cent. Thank you!!”

“I have been ordering from Global Pet Foods Hintonburg since I adopted my dog in January. I mostly ordered from them online and love their efficient service. I have now gone in a couple of times and the store is adorable with a wonderful selection. Then, they let me know that because of the type of food I order for my dog, and since I order regularly, I have actually qualified for a free box of it. I didn't know this was an option and am OVER THE MOON. Wonderful store and staff, very happy to be a patron and recommend to all pet owners in the area.”
“Convenient little store, good selection of foods, treats, and toys, for cats & dogs.Prices are on par with independent pet stores, it's always clean/tidy, and the staff are friendly & helpful, and (considering it's a smaller space) they have an awful lot in there while still having enough space to walk with your dog.I get all of my dog food, and the majority of their new toys, from here.”

“Went to PetSmart at Herongate today, and as I waited to be checked out, I couldn't help but notice the young man at the cash, and how he treated everyone he helped as though they were important and appreciated. When it was my turn, he was the same lovely, jovial and caring person I had been watching with others. He made my day. A SHOUTOUT TO "SIMON". YOU ARE A TREASURE! I HOPE YOU KNOW HOW SPECIAL YOU ARE, AND HOW HAPPY YOU MAKE OTHERS FEEL. PetSmart is very lucky to have you represent them.”
“Cezanne did an incredible job on my standard poodle, cooper. I gave minimal instruction and she just knew what to do. She used her expertise to give him a proper poodle cut and perfectly shaped his top knot. She even saved his lion tail which was matted. I get comments from strangers every day telling me how beautiful he is. I am so pleased and it is the best cut he's had to date. In terms of the service at Cocomutts, I was very impressed with the operation - very professional and friendly. Only thing to note is that when you walk in, they sometimes have free roaming cats in the store. Cooper is not a big fan of them and was a little distressed upon entering. Staff were kind and put them away upon request.”

“Impressive Service-------------------Today, I was in to purchase some dog food. Cashier rings it all in, and is bagging it up for us - when he noticed one of the boxes had an expiry date of August 2023 (it's April 2024). We were very grateful!! Dogs can't tell you when a food they normally enjoy doesn't taste right. So, that is REAL Customer Service!!”

“Their customer care and service is impeccacble! They always take amazing care of our dog, they are prompt at answering the phone, booking appointments and giving us tailored advice for our canine needs. We would most certainly recommend this pet shop to anyone who is looking for an amazing team to take care of their pet. We also use theie grooming services every 6 weeks or so, and we are always there in and out very quickly. Good prices too! They even often help me carry my purchases to my car. Awesome place!”
