Bought a 'vintage shirt' that was completely modern....nothing there is vintage.. the good stuff isn't for sale. It'd a good spot to meet some 'unique' people.

So snooty. Pretentious staff and over priced junk.

Worker didn't know what they were doing, or how much an item was worth. After waiting for them to look it up online for a few minutes, they quoted a very high price that would be enough to buy 4 or 5 of the other shirts they cared to put tags on.Between the worker not really having a clue, and the underwhelming selection, can't say I'd recommend this shop.

when I was about 13 years old, I would go here all the time. me and my friends became regular customers and often chatted with the owner. it's been a few years now and I think it's about time I left a review. sold items at incredibly high prices, but he would say he was doing us a favour by instead of selling us an item for like 80 dollars he'd sell it to us for around 40 or 60 dollars instead since we were nice/cool/whatever excuse. i remember even at that time I thought it was weird how he would sell us items usually 30$ cheaper than the original price just because we were "such nice kids". Now you might think "maybe he was just being nice?", if he was selling us items for 30 to 40 dollars less, assuming he was doing this to every "nice" customer that walked through the door, he'd be running a charity. Now a year or two later, thanks to Paul's vintage, my brother (he also was a loyal customer, even more than me) had started being really into vintage items and searched for vintage items himself, what we discovered was that the prices he told us some of the items costed didn't align with the market value. I won't tell any business owner how to run their business since it's their business, I'm just sharing my experience on this, business owners can do whatever with their prices, just be aware. we still have some of the items, and I know that my friends still have their coats that they bought from there. Paul's vintage is an incredible nostalgic place for me, I used to go there during all seasons because I loved it so much, which is why it pains me to write such a negative review, which is why I'm leaving a two star instead of a one star review.taking advantage of kids naivety, telling us we were the best customers, telling us he was doing us a favour, not cool. it's incredibly disappointing to know a local business which I loved was taking advantage of their customers, especially underaged ones. I'm not sure how he runs the business now. I'm not sure if he's become more honest, but I want to repeat this was my experience at the time, take my review as you will.

Paul's Vintage is a genuine vintage experience. The selection here is impressive and obviously carefully curated and constantly changing, with a good range of items (especially 80's clothing, it would appear). However, what makes this place stand out from every other vintage shop is the owner, Paul. His knowledge of the vintage world is vast, and he shares it willingly. No frills, no pushy sales tactics, just a friendly, honest, and knowledgeable service that makes shopping here a real pleasure. Highly recommended.P.S The interior decoration alone is worth going to check out, honestly ? It's fantastic!

Paul is a very nice person, the small place is used to it’s fullest extent and all the pieces are timeless and reasonnably priced. More items for men (or unisex) than for women, which is not really common for vintage clothes stores. Located in a historic old building close to byward market. Recommend !

Paul’s Vintage is the perfect place to go thrifting if you’re looking for a chill vibe & good looking, quality vintage pieces, and all for a great price. The shop itself is quaint and cozy, it definitely DOES NOT have that cluttered-feel that most thrift shops have, but rather of a boutique-feel to it. Let’s just say that I wouldn’t mind hiring Mr. Paul’s Vintage as an interior decorator for my place! but the owner himself is very nice and welcoming. I actually hesitated going in as I was walking by, but he came outside and invited me in! :)I took my time and inspected the pieces that stood out for me, and the fabric was still in great condition, the stitches weren’t ripped or busted. All in all, 11/10, will definitely go again

absolute (hidden) gem. This is one of my favourite places in Ottawa. Paul has really quality stuff for a good price, and the overall vibe there is just amazing. I bring my friends here every time i'm in Ottawa. The type of things that only people who live here know about. Could not recommend it enough
