This place has the most extensive selection of Middle Eastern bread that I've seen at any store in Ottawa. If you enjoy Middle Eastern or Mediterranean food, this is essentially a one-stop shop for your grocery needs. Some items are more affordable than other places, while some are pricier, but the overall variety balances it out. This is the place to buy unsweetened, non-oily, authentic Middle Eastern bread. The lavash and pita bread here taste like they were baked using only wheat, water, yeast and salt as god intented it.

WARNING! THIS PLACE SELLS ROTTEN MEATS! DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR BUTCHER!!They will give you your order in a grey plastic bag so you don't see what's in there, and you'll get a surprise when you open it at home. No refunds ofcourse!!

Prices not accurate. Chicken is not fresh and some products doesn’t even have an expiry/production date on them.

Not recommended, expensive, refused to return not open items as it was expired and had a bad smell return was next day , holding attitude with client.

Went in to get groceries for the house and when got home found the chicken smelling rotten it was so bad I had to throw it out of the house immediately. The kind of smell that would make you sick for days. The hummus was old and Lafita was tasting off. I called and the man on the phone indicated something went wrong with the fridge and to come back whenever to get reimbursed, but throw away the food.When I went back they negated everything and refused to reimburse without receipt.Strongly advise against buying from there and to not trust labels where expired items are placed on shelf.

Customer service is very bad and the tag prices doesn't match the cashier plus very expensive if you compare it to other Arabic stores

I was in a hurry and picked up some lamb meat, their prices are actually pretty expensive compared to other places .

Truly spectacular catering. I was on the pickup the food for the party crew: Two huge platters of chicken biryani and kofta were loaded into the back of the car. The gentleman who gave it to us said, "be careful- this is very good food." Nice pride, and absolutely correct. How the aroma tortured us in a traffic jam ... at the party, the food was the centerpiece. Wowwww. Smoky kofta, cashews and fruit on perfect rice, crowned with 5 or more peffectly prepared chickens?! Incredible. Thank you to the crew for a very memorable meal. Next level.

Honestly some of those negative reviews are out of whack. This place continues to be amazing, I remember it growing up and still kicking. Nice pleasant ppl.....All around. Never had issues.

Most of the items in the shop are expired, and if they are not expired, they are of poor quality due to poor storage, and the prices are very expensive. I advise not visiting them
