I have lived in the neighbourhood and have frequented them reluctantly over the years as the service is unknowledgable and cranky without flexibility bordering on rude. Worst home hardware service out of the 3 that I have frequented over my adult life. Example today is that I arrived at 945 and I needed one thing. Although there was staff inside, they made me wait outside until 10.

Superior service every time!
Every time I go in there, I learn something new from the staff. If I ask for help with finding something, they don't just direct me to a shelf. They ask questions and figure out exactly what I need.

I’ve always had a very positive shopping experience at this store. There is a lot of inventory and sales people do their very best to help you find things, in fact, are quite amazing in knowing exactly where things are.

One of the staff is simply unprofessional and just reject the customer to pick up the package ,because of he have the totally wrong information for which type of the government ID is acceptable when picking up the registered mail.
I went to the shop again after I confirmed the required documents on the website , and the supervisor (should be called Michael) confirmed the type of the gov ID we have is acceptable as it is listed under the website (but the original staff just rejected it and said foreign passport is not acceptable), and the original staff said he can’t read the gov ID that issued by the foreign government ( even though it is in English and recognised by government of Canada ).
If the original staff is not sure whether he has the right information, he should confirm his supervisor , but not just reject the document without looking on the company SOP as it is totally unacceptable.

This place has everything. And it's all crammed into a great old school hardware store where you can actually find someone to help when you need it. Not a big box...a great old fashioned place where staff still know what they're talking about. Love it.
