As a shameless connoisseur of grocery store sushi I can confidently say Metro's should be completely avoided. No "packaged on" date listed and was best before tomorrow.
The rest of the store is pretty nice though.

I have to say I am very disappointed with this store. The prices are out of wack. Bread 4.69 a loaf this is flour and water, right? Cream 4.69, 4 apples 8.00. Then all the cash outs are closed, use the self checkout. Bag your own groceries and there is nowhere to put your groceries, every time you move something the agent has to come over and fix the scanner. It’s not an easy process. First they rob you with pricing, then bag your own groceries and scan your own items. They have one agent to help the 6 self check outs, all are having issues with scanner. Long lines , unhappy people. This store was convenient but, I won’t be going anymore.

This store is NO LONGER 24 HRS. They make pizza in the deli that is 13$ for a really large two topping made to order pie. They also sell slices for $3.99. I quite enjoy it! There is also a worker named Keith that is literally the loveliest human being on the planet.

Love the store but they are always out of organic milk choices. I did tell the customer service once in the past but still can’t find what I need. Won’t be my first choice anymore, too bad.

Prices in Metro are outrages and nothing is special about this chain..they don't even give thier employees a discount terrible...shame on them

Always check the best before date here! I have bought frozen food that had expired for almost a year and a refrigerated bottled drink that had not been expired but had already gone bad from here.

I am boycotting Loblaws Corp. I went to this Metro yesterday for the first time in a while thinking they'd have decent prices as they try to woo in Loblaws customers. Boy was I wrong! Terrible prices. Prices are better at small independent grocers. Oh and it was a Saturday afternoon and it was empty. I will not be back.

Regular grocery shopping... Had everything I needed.. The butcher even cut some inside round pieces for me to make Roladen....
