Brought my VW Golf here for some diagnostic work and they were able to detect the issue literally within 3mins of driving my vehicle. These people know what they are doing ? Super honest and clearly weren’t there to gouge me to replace anything I didn’t have to. You earned a loyal customer now! Thank you for putting me at ease and for your professionalism!

I bought a car, I went there to have someone look it over. They were honest great pricing, had a really good experience. The only thing they said the car needed was rustproofing, service they don’t even offer. Would highly recommend. I was recommended by friends who’s been going there for years. ???

I have been a customer of McArthur Motors for over 45 years. Although they specialize in German makes & models, I have entrusted all my vehicles to Lino, and more recently to his son Mike, and have never been disappointed. They are knowledgeable, honest, accommodating and always respectful. I now have to travel almost 30 kms to get there, but the service is well worth it.Services: Tires

Workers were terribly rude and degrading. My friend and I came in to ask a simple question and we were greeted with nothing but detest. Not a single piece of useful information was exchanged. It seemed solely because we were women we were talked down upon as if we knew nothing. Absolutely disheartening to know that sexism is still STRONGLY prevalent in motor shops.

literally the worst automotive shop i've ever been to. The employees were just rude, insisted I knew nothing about my car even though all I went in for was an oil change. As a young female its already hard to not be treated like a doll but in places that require business to stay afloat I would assume they would be more aware of the social climate and how to properly act. 0/10! wouldn't suggest this place to my worst enemy!

In late May of 2021 we bought a 1968 VW Beetle convertible. There were some problems with lunging and bucking that I eventually realized were a motor / transmission mount issue. Based on reviews here on Google we brought the car into McArthur Motors (est. 1979) on June first and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.It turns out the mount in place was not the correct one, and the installer cut the frame to fit it instead of moving the engine, rewelding the frame afterwards. The nuts fitted to the mount studs were put on two threads deep, then welded in place. :OLino corrected that, installed the proper mount, adjusted the clutch and brakes, tuned the engine, rekeyed the driver's door and centered the steering wheel. All of this work in a single day with one day's notice for a very reasonable price.The difference is night and day. No more lurching when I let off the gas and the clutch is much smoother with take up throughout the travel instead of in the top third.---In spring 2022 Lino cleaned our carb and replaced the clutch. Starting, running and shifting are vastly improved!---As long as McArthur Motors is around they will be my go to for the service I don't perform myself.
