Excellent store, wide selections, friendly helpful staff, pro services very supportive and efficient. Isle experts a tad understaffed at times, would be nice if there were more of them to go around.

Great store. It has everything you need for your DIY, home renovation, and gardening needs. The store also sells lumber, power tools, all kinds of hardware, and appliances. I found the store easy to navigate, well stocked, and quite clean. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Extremely disorganized. Extremely hard to schedule delivery or get it on time if you have a deadline. Will not deliver in a timely manner at all, it’s been a week and I’m still trying to just get someone to schedule the delivery. Already missed my build date. Will not order from here again.
Another fun thing, I finally got to deck building after the delay and apparently instead of the cedar I bought and was charged for, I got pressure treated wood instead. If the builder hadn’t been there I would have gotten scammed even more. After some back and forth I was refunded for the cost of the cedar, returned the pressure treated wood and we went to Home Depot for real cedar.

I've been a loyal customer at this location for over a decade (when it was Lowe's), and the staff has always been incredibly helpful. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been less than satisfactory.
Two weeks ago, I ordered a dishwasher from a sales associate who seemed somewhat disgruntled. She repeatedly emphasized that the delivery would take 10 days and that I should not come until they call me and let me know its ready. I waited 11 days without a call. When I contacted the store, I learned that the dishwasher had arrived a week earlier and beed sitting there.
The sales associate's initial attitude made me apprehensive about the entire process. While I would have given the experience a 1-star rating, I've decided to give it an extra star in recognition of the consistently helpful service I've received from other employees in the past.

Recently, we bought a dishwasher from Rona and are very happy with the service overall. I just would like to commend two employees for their superior customer service. Brian and Samantha from kitchen appliances. Brian for his his exceptional knowledge and the time he took to walk us through everything we needed to know.
There was a hiccup in the 3 point process by the subcontractors so that we were stuck with our dishwasher in the house for 3 days over the long weekend before we could contact anyone. Samantha called first thing on Tuesday and within minutes said an installer would be here right away. Within a half hour, he arrived and was finished in no time. That’s great service for rectifying a glitch. Rona, you have some wonderful employees working for you.

We ordered mulch with express delivery and it never came until 9 pm. Called a few times and no one at Rona knew the status. It will arrive but when ??? We received a notice delivered and nothing at our door. Needed another trip next day to figure out what happened and the refund. Pathetic customer service. If I had known before would have rented a truck day 1 instead of having to wait and spend time and energy on the calls and deliver.

Our 2nd visit to Rona, this summer and both times we experienced excellent service. All the staff we encountered were personable and efficient. The 1st time was for two conversation sets of furniture. … the two senior gentlemen & one very efficient female associate from that department acted swiftly to secure the ‘on sale’ items and took the necessary steps to prepare for delivery. Yesterday, we were there to look into purchasing an outdoor shed, and needed assistance to contact the manufacturer for additional material. Mel & Shelley really know their ‘stuff’ and even though it was late in the day….Shelley took the time to ‘literally’ check the stock available and find the information we required. The customer service desk associates were also very personable both times, and efficient. We are impressed, and we wish to thank those who served us AND the person who is hiring & training staff like this. We will be back.

This was usually my go to store for purchasing whatever I needed around the home but after the past month…that has for sure changed. I needed a copy of a receipt for a purchase I made in July 2023 to get the warranty on a defective item.
I called the Canada wide support number and came to this store where I originally purchased the product. I was given the run around to get that receipt for a month. Clearly there is some kinda communication breakdown. I was told that now that they are a RONA the old systems don’t work, The purchases from then are all delete etc etc.
My last resort was to call a different location and the customer service employee at that location was able to pull up the receipt and give me the full details. She couldn’t print it for me so I returned to this store and gave the more detailed receipt details. This time they pulled up and printed me a copy within minutes.
Really annoyed and pissed off that the employees lied because they were lazy, I guess? All to cost me to potentially loose out on a $400 warranty. Huge thank you to the employee at the other location who went the extra mile.

Curbside pick up service is EXTREMELY slow. I was the only car/person in the parking lot picking up an online order and checked in online. I received confirmation my check in was successful. I called 20 minutes later because my order had not come out. The total process took 29 minutes from first check in to the order being brought out. The person who brought out the order was very pleasant and apologized for the delay because side the store is busy. Seems there is a staffing issue if they can’t keep up with a single curbside pickup order. This was my first and last time shopping here.
