Went to the Loblaws college Square counter selling deli and pre made lunch foods, at 10:35am. Wanted to purchase a number of pre-made savoury pastries etc. that were sitting in the window. Woman clerk there said they “are not open” until 11am. Huh? No work at all to do - just throw them in a box with a price tag ?! Wonder how many sales they’ve lost this way…. *** ONE STAR *** enjoy!

Used to be good but I don't shop at stores that charge you outlandish prices and then treat YOU like the criminal on your way out. NO you can't see my receipt or touch what is now my property. The 7 foot tall barriers are bad enough. Prices are also so inflated it erases any savings from PC points.Not only that they recently removed the Tim Hortons to let Starbucks in, so all the bougie people can have their 6$ coffees. Majority of products have now moved so finding things is a nightmare. All to further alienate the majority of their customers so the rich ones will be happy.

Two cashiers for a giant store today! Saturated self checkout and overall terrible wait times!

I went to buy a few things from the fresh food department. Some drinks were on clearance so I bought two.
At the self checkout the cashier scanned it and instead of $1.50 it scanned for $3.59 each. I said it was not right, for which he told me that he cannot give me a discount on my words alone! He said to go back and take a picture to prove it! I said, he works here and it is his responsibility to communicate and check prices, and anyway, I have cancer and I have a hard time moving around. He shrugged his shoulders.
So I went, took a picture and told him to do his job and next time he was the one to do the legwork and I cannot be responsible for proving that each item was sold for the price marked instead of how it came up at the cash register!
It is disappointing to see that there are not enough employees and they are really not working for the customers but only there for their pay.

They treat you like a thief from the second that you walk in through the door, I do not recommend shopping here if you have another option available.
Every time I go in they've added another new section of plexiglass because people keep jumping it.
There are gates barring your exit in case of an emergency. After I've paid for my goods I am physically blocked from leaving unless I fork over the receipt that I never take with me.
The worst part is the fact that Loblaws is gaslighting consumers into thinking these incredibly over the top "anti theft" measures are "industry standard" when their stores are the only ones in the industry employing these tactics.
I would give 0 stars if it was an option.

The female security at the self checkout ask me for the receipt even before I finish paying my stuff,and I watched here for while she didn't ask anybody else for receipt, discrimination attitude.

I have a request: I would like to see those trays of chicken on the entrance placed elsewhere, somewhere where the staffs eye would catch. Cause, I saw a guy opening some and and rearranging them. I didn't think much about it then, cause nobody seemed to bother about it. However, day before yesterday I bought a tray without thinking about it and now I have the effing flu, and I hope it's just flu. Please, make changes. I don't remember exactly when, but reviewing the last two weeks video feed would help you find the evidence.
