I always liked The Bay, especially The Bay Days. But I would like to comment on an employee named Kaitlyn at the Zeller's section at the Rideau St. branch. She helped me and explained to me the return policy in very simple terms without pressuring me and offered to keep the item I returned behind the service desk in case I change my mind to re-purchase it, which I did later on and made and an extra purchase on top of it. This lady is very personable, unassuming and a wonderful human being overall. Good help is very hard to find and I wish this young lady all the best in her chosen career.

I bought a lamp in hudson’s bay (Rideau). I nicely asked the staff namely “Mohammad” and the other girl i forgot the name because she left after I address her rudeness. She is short, with long slightly curl hair.
I asked politely if i can test or try the Lamp just to check because i will give that as a gift to my special friend. And she replied to me saying “WE DONT HAVE LAMP BULB HOW CAN WE TEST, HAVE YOU SEEN OUR SAMPLE DISPLAY OVER THERE?” In a very rude manner and high tone. I even stopped her and told her to speak calmly and nicely because im asking politely. And she stopped and look at me and left.
And this mohammad trying to say to me that his colleague is nice and what so ever.
She should response to me in a very professional way that if they cant test it or not or just if ever i can bring back to return or refund the item instead of giving me a rudeness statement.
I am a valued customer of hudson’s bay and i know that one of your guy staff (i forgot the name) will recognize me because he always saw me looking and buying some stuffs for my puppy.
But this staff of yours will never know how to treat and talk to customers with proper manners and respect. I feel bad for this treatment of your rude staff. I will never ever buy again if mohammad and that girl is the person on the cash register.
I am posting and reviewing this just for all the customer who can read this to be aware of this kind of customer service that hudsons bay rideau branch had.

Yesterday I had one of the worst experience of my life in The Bay at the Rideau Center.
I always went there and I believe I was a good costumer of the store.
While I was choosing some t-shirts I noticed a male employee racially profiling me. Wherever I was going to look and choose for something, he was right there behind me. I believe he is a new employee, because I used to purchase a lot in that store for many years and I never had any problem before.
I felt really uncomfortable with his attitude. When I went to pay for what I had chosen he came as the cashier, but I asked for another cashier because I wasn’t feeling comfortable with him. He didn’t allow me to go to another cashier. So he called a lady who said she was the MANAGER of the store. I explained the whole situation for her, but she started speaking out loud at me in front of other costumers, she was really rude and she took the t-shirts off my hands and asked me to get out of HER store because she doesn’t have any racist staff working there. I said that I haven’t mentioned the word racism, she was the one who said that, and I just walked away being kicked out of the store. I will never come back in that store again. I’m a hard worker and a very polite person and never saw someone who works with people being so impolite. She clearly picked the wrong profession.
I was treated as a criminal.
I don’t wish what I felt to anyone else. ?
For the record all this happened on June 26, 2024 between 1-2 pm on the male section.

I recently had a terrible experience at a Bay store in Rideau. I went to return an item, and the service was absolutely terrible. The staff was incredibly confrontational and stood up to me, which made the whole process even more difficult than it was. Surprisingly, this is not an isolated incident-a friend of mine had a similar experience in 2021.
Obviously, customer service is not a priority in this place. I will never return to this store again. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere. This place is really disappointing.horrible.i don't knew if they have RH or quality control .I'm wondering.

I was in the Zellers departmant today, Franco Castillo was able to help me choose a new pan for my kitchen. He was very helpful and I was able to be out of there quickly. Would definitly recommend.

Worst company ever. Never buying anything from here AS YOU SHOULD. Bought some stuff in store, and they were supposed to deliver them. I got no tracking number and the fedex guy put it outside the building and it was stolen. Tried to contact hudson bay and they said that the package was delivered to the correct address and thats all they did. After a month of continuous talks with them they kept saying that there is a picture of the package so that means they're good and the package was delivered. THE PICTURE CLEARLY SHOWS THAT THE Package WAS LEFT ON THE STREET NOT INSIDE THE BUILDING AS THEY SHOULD, and when they cant access the building they normally leave a note not leave it outside. AND AGAIN, I didnt receive s tracking number.
Maybe their products are good, but they treat their customers like garbage. No wonder this company isnt making money anymore. Hopefully they go broke soon.
