“I ordered my daughter’s birthday cake from the Piggy Market as I was looking for a nut free bakery and haven’t liked other bakeries. The whole family loooooved our vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream from the Piggy Market! It was very moist, with lots of rich buttery decadent icing! I would definitely order from them again and highly recommend. As well, the price was incredibly reasonable.”

“I love this store, they have great fresh herbs and vegetables that are difficult to find elsewhere. The owners are also really nice, and the lovely man at the cash speaks many languages including french.”
“The restaurant did not cook the food. If you look at the reviews, they say they serve Jjajangmyeon and Jjambbong, but they don't do that anymore. Kimbap and kimchi were delicious and cheap. It was okay and I parked in front of the store for a while and made a purchase.”
“Stopped in after driving by here many times. I was not disappointed. Had the chicken burrito was to die for. Had the Argentinian empanada which was absolutely delicious. I figured they made everything as you ordered but turns out it's made in advance but still very very delicious. I will definitely return here to fulfill my Latin food cravings.”

“A clean and bright supermarket brand. In addition to fresh fruits and vegetables, it also has groceries and ready-to-eat meals. After purchasing, you can eat in the seating area inside. The lunch box and self-service selection weighing and pricing area for various dishes are all very friendly. The service mode is that you can eat when you buy it, which is very convenient for travelers. Recommended!”

“Can’t say enough good things about this store.
There are no grocery stores in walking distance of this neighbourhood. Thankfully, Abbas Grocery keeps its shelves stocked with all the basics, as well as fresh produce and a number of other important household items. It’s also very affordable (in a time where major grocery stores jack up their prices at will) and the staff are all wonderful. Every one of them, owner included, are friendly and helpful.
Some weeks, I’m in this store almost every day, and that doesn’t bother me at all. Happy to support this business and can safely say living in this neighbourhood would be much more difficult without it.”
“Don't let the outside fool you, this is a very well stocked and maintained grocery with a wonderful neighbourhood feel. The staff is helpful, the produce is excellent quality and price and they have a wide variety of staples as well as some fantastic more exotic selections. They have a solid deli and frozen section with a strong amount of vegetarian and vegan options and a great non alcoholic drink section. All in all worth a stop when you need groceries and want to support local business.”

“This place is a local gem. I heard Kaz Kitchen had changed ownership recently and decided to check it out since it has been a few months of disappointment with what was in the shelves. The new owner was so kind and immediately wanted to know what I was looking for and promised to stock it up for me. A couple days later, she had gotten exactly what I was looking for, and she's kept it in stock since! Not to mention the meat pies and lasagnas and desserts she makes! I always make sure to get a lunch or snack while there. Excellent cornerstore for Guigues Avenue.”

“This store is amazing! Great selection of everything including really good vegan cheeses from Greece. All of their prepared salads are 10/10 ( have tried them all but really love the lentil one, the mixed bean and pasta).
Their inhouse bakery is stellar!! The spinach and meat fatayer are the best i have ever has and I try them everywhere. Pastries and cookies are delicious. Hats off to the cooks and bakers!!”
