Nov 3, 2023 - Couldn't find pork hocks in any of the large grocery stores in Ottawa.Tried contacting Glebe Meat Market for the first time.My message was responded to within the hour.A friend was picking them up for me.I paid for them in advance to make sure they would be available to me. And... They were. ?The people were friendly, accommodating and provided me with the best dang pork hocks I've seen in decades.Well done Stephane Sauve and the Glebe Meat Market staff... I am blown away by this experience.Hopefully someday I myself will be able to visit your beautiful store myself.Thank you for your excellent service and great quality of meat. I hope you stay in business for a long time to come.???

We came here from Quebec to buy haggis as I had read it was the best in town and my wife also bought Pork Belly.The next day, we cooked the pork Belly and it was giving off a very funny smell and it made us feel quezy, so we didnt eat it, just to be on the safe side. I contacted the Glebe meat market and explained this and they very kindly refunded me the cost without any issues. They apologized and stated this had never happened before.Naturally we were disappointed with not being able to eat the meat for supper, but I am very happy Glebe Meat Market responded to my dilemma and refunded us. This will not put us off from shopping here again in the future. many thanks.

I was given a Glebe Meat Market tomahawk steak as a gift. Cooked it today. Seared it on the outside on the bbq and then finished it like a roast. It might have been the nicest steak I've ever had. Staff are helpful and friendly, too.

If you're planning a roast, barbecue or anything with a nice cut of meat, you should definitely come here. It isn't the cheapest, but their quality is amazing.

Staff are sometimes short with customers and the labelling of products in the main fridge leaves a lot to be desired. Quality is good, prices are quite high but service is a hit and miss!

I wish I can give them ZERO Star rating! Anyways, I have called them the sales person picked up the phone I said Could I please talk to somebody! I was told they are busy now and hanged up the phone!WOW, what a disgusting place! Guys please stay away from them.so horrible...!

Great butcher shop! I went in very confused and the staff were so helpful. They provided me with some delicious short ribs at a reasonable price, and with amazing customer service!! Couldn't recommend it more! They also sell my favourite Montreal steak spice (Joe Beef). Wonderful!!

Great place for fine meats. Picked up a couple of rib eye steaks for a special occasion on the recommendation of the Butcher. WOW! Ask if you are not sure what to get her recommendation should be spot on.
