Don't expect to redeem ANY of your Shoppers Optimum points for gas at this location. During the current offering of saving $10 for spending 10k Optimum points, I've been able to redeem points for gas at several other Esso locations in Ottawa/Orleans, but not this morning at this location on Donald St. There was an error at the pump when I inserted my Optimum card, so I carried on and pumped $10 of gas into my car and proceeded to the cashier to have them validate my purchase with my Optimum card, but they refused to honour it. On my very first attempt at this offer back in October, I did exactly that -- went inside to pay so that I would know how to redeem at the pump and had no problem getting my free $10 of gas when I presented my Optimum card! So today, I paid cash for my transaction after the attendants tried to explain why it didn't work, but the bottom line is....they knew that their particular system was having problems and yet they made no attempt to intervene after the error at the pump or to put up signage warning Optimum clients to NOT USE THEIR CARD. Needless to say, that was my first and last visit to this location.

Gas prices are average. Exterior and interior of this gas station could be better. Staff is really friendly.

I go here to get my winter/summer tires switched in spring and fall. What really impressed me? They were swapping the tires and noticed my $1200 brake job (done somewhere else) was incorrect and causing damage to itself! They fixed it in an hour and I was on my way. There's rarely a line up. And their prices are fair.
