“Excellent Audio StoreI travelled from Montreal to visit Distinctive Audio.The store may not look like much, but don’t let that fool you. It is packed with excellent audio equipment.The store owner (Rheal) is passionate, and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to two Channel audio, especially tube audio.Rheal setup a nice demo. There was no rush, and no pressure. I purchased a beautiful Unison Research tube amp.Highly recommend store.”

“I went there on September 4, 2024, to buy some cellphone stands. An associate by the name of Najeem was helpful in locating some. He was very friendly and was not intimidating to approach if you required any assistance.
When I went to check out, Michelle was the cashier. He had a great smile and was very personable. Also, he was more than happy to give me extra free plastic bags when I requested extras.
Overall, my experience at Canada Computers at the Ottawa Downtown location was great, and I would definitely go there again.”

Danielle was such a lovely lady, the day I called her to ask for guitar informations, she suggested me to come to the store and try the guitars myself and I did. “2022 UPDATE: met with the manager today and she was very nice.I wish they had some pop socket auto attachments.….. …..Previous exp:Not especially happy about their customer service at this location. After waiting 10 minutes at gate as there was 3 people inside. A young man asked me what I’m looking for. I say popsocket mount. He says oh ya we have those then goes to check and I don’t see him for another 30 minutes!Meanwhile a woman working there doesn’t care about anything it seems just wandering around. A Filipino woman sitting on the ground in front of counter, waiting for her cell phone that took ages.It was a scene that could have played at the theatres lol..I like the store though and I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars at Best Buy over the years. This mini location is so convenient!”

“After my daughter’s brand new iPhone 15 was stolen, I spent three exhausting hours at the police station and made numerous calls—five to Apple (where I was advised not to go into the store to ask for help) and eight to my provider, Telus—only to find no one could help mark the phone’s IMEI as stolen. It was incredibly frustrating, especially since my daughter, an 18-year-old university student, depends on her phone not only for her studies but also to commute over an hour each way for school. Despite my hesitation and frustration with the lack of support, we decided to try our luck at the Apple Store in Rideau.
When we arrived, I shared our story, and Santiago (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly) overheard our conversation with his coworker and immediately showed empathy and understanding, and was eager to take on our case. Although he was busy with another client, he made a point to help us as soon as he was free, even going so far as to reach out to a personal contact at Telus. Despite all the calls I had previously made to Telus myself, Santiago’s persistence and connections made the difference—I finally had confirmation that the stolen phone would be marked as such.
While it was a huge financial hit to have to buy another $1,500 phone, Santiago’s kindness and commitment to resolving our problem really put my mind at ease. Thank you, Santiago, and the team at Rideau’s Apple Store, for turning an awful experience around.”

“Vistek is always a good experience because of its outstanding customer service. I have been a customer of Vistek for many years, purchasing all my cameras, lenses, studio lights, and accessories from them. My latest purchase was a camera that might have been a bit too advanced for me, but embracing the challenge and my photography addiction, I went ahead and bought the "too much camera."
While it's a fabulous camera, I found myself overwhelmed with navigating some of the settings. I dropped by Vistek today and had a fantastic session with Mark Dalpe. He patiently helped me understand the settings, practiced with me, and even took the time to write down the steps. I am incredibly grateful for the time Mark spent with me, helping me avoid the frustration of almost giving up on this expensive camera. Thank you, Mark, and thank you, Vistek!”
