Ecco store at Rideau Centre appears to be one of the worst managed. In November 2023, I ordered a pair of sneakers to offer to my grandson for Christmas, but up to now, the shoes have not been delivered. When contacted, the boss of the store said she thought the person through whom I ordered the shoes had collected them in person, which is false. She had been given the address in Montreal to which they were supposed to be shipped but this never occurred. The District Manager claims to have conducted an investigation which has concluded with him siding with the manager. Never in my 5 years of ordering from this store has something like this occurred. It's really unfortunate that incompetent people should be allowed to run a commercial business.Simon Chuinkam

I bought a pair of boots that gave me blisters which I exchanged for a pair of gortex runners. I was told to try them at home and return if they caused the same problem, which I did. They also caused blisters, which is surprising since I have several pairs of ecco shoes which give me no problem. When I tried to return them I was told they were not returnable, as they could see the imprint of my toes on the insole. The return policy should be well explained and there should be no suggestion to try the shoes at home. I think it's impossible to try the shoes without leaving an imprint. I was mislead and should have just gone with the original return rather than the exchange.

I bought a pair of Hybrid Chukka boots and within a couple days of wearing them the lace on one of the boots started tearing. I went in store to have them hopefully replace the lace for me and the manager, Bridget, immediately deflects that it could be a defect and says “it’s wear and tear”. What boots/laces start tearing that way after 4 or 5 wears? I’ve owned Ecco shoes before and I’ve never had that issue. The manager has 0 customer service skills. When a customer has an issue you’re supposed to listen and try to help them and not just deflect as soon as you’re told the issue. Even when I asked for her name as I was unsatisfied with her service, she didn’t seem to care and just told me “you can go speak to customer service”. Not sure how a brand like Ecco can have someone like her managing one of their stores. It’s a shame honestly.

Like the products but policy on ordering anything under 100$ is ridiculous. They recommend product that they do not have in stock and want to charge shipping fees for it. We had to return a pair of shoes as they had become unglued, they offered to get them repaired which they did but when we picked them up there was excessive glue. When we mentioned it they just look at us blankly ???? and offered to get them done again. We have to pay for parking every time we go. Not cool will not be returning to the Rideau store ????

Staff is awesome!! I have been to other Ecco locations but this one is the best. The ladies who work there are very helpful and very nice! Unfortunately I only got one of the girls’ names which was Lisa. But honestly they were all are super nice! Will be going back for sure :)

Great walking shoes! I just absolutely love the Yucatan three strap sandals because they are so extremely comfortable and provided me with a full day of walking blister free.The store is very clean, well organized and has a friendly vibe to it.The staff are charming, attentive and very helpful which created a very pleasant shopping experience.
