When we dropped in to the Donnelly Ford-Lincoln dealership, we weren’t actually certain we were ready to change cars. Nor did we know what sort of vehicle our next car was going to be. We fully expected to be a car salesman’s worst nightmare.
As things turned out, the entire process was a pleasure. Even my wife who loathes the very idea of buying a car found the experience a delight.
And the credit for our very positive experience goes to our salesman, John Puddicombe. John was first class to deal with. He was patient, professional, truthful at every turn, and couldn’t do enough for us. He clearly enjoys his work. Each time we returned to the dealership, John would take all sorts of time to explain details, run through various scenarios, and he even had a car delivered to our home for us to test drive in our neighbourhood.
As for the dealership itself, at Donnelly Ford-Lincoln, the Lincoln brand now has its own dedicated and very attractive new building, offers several nice touches like Nespresso coffee and snacks, and provides to customers a dedicated concierge service that takes our breath away (thanks so much, Darlaine). Well done, Donnelly Ford-Lincoln for upping your game; the Lincoln brand deserves it.
