Used to be a good store. Now it's understaffed and the self checkouts are so 'sensitive' to try to prevent theft that they are unusable. Don't even try to pack your bag as you go, even if you tell it you put the bag, it will still freak out about weight and seize up and not let you continue till the one staff member in the store eventually finds time unless you just give up and leave

My wife and I visit DOLLARAMA every 2-3 weeks to buy cleaning and other essential products. It’s one of our favorite stores, where you can always find excellent items at very good prices. The staff is always polite and ready to help — every time I’ve asked for assistance, I’ve received the support I needed. It’s easy to find everything you need here, and you always leave feeling like you made a smart purchase. This store is a real household helper, and we’re glad it’s nearby!

If you’re going to sell gift cards you need someone at the cash. You can’t use self checkout. Waited and gave up.
