“I love HomeSense, and if I want to buy something for the house, I first go to HomeSense. Most of the time, I can find the items I want right there, and the prices are always great with a good variety of products. However, each location has different items, and there are a few locations that are better than others, so if you're looking to buy something, make sure to check out a few different locations”

“I don't find Winners all it's cracked up to be in their advertising. Unfortunately what I typically see is a bunch of off label named overly expensive clothing. There are some good finds at Winners but they are few and far between.They have a nice variety of decor items for every room in my home. But the same issue appears here. Many items are over priced.”

“This review is really for TJX because the associates I dealt with at Southkeys Winners were not keen on listening to my issue and just handed me a business card to contact TJX. I had a $50 gift card with proof of purchase, that was declined and left my purchase behind. The process was time consuming as it underwent an investigation but TJX came through and provided me with a new gift card. I haven't used it yet but I assume it is good. A Manager had to be present to confirm my identity and collect the original gift certificate and receipt, she was very irritated and abrupt with the sales staff (who was very pleasant) and after collecting the appropriate info from me, she just left her staff and myself and went on to the next task. I expected some enthusiasm and maybe to hear "I am so happy we were able to resolve the issue" and maybe "have a great day" or "thank you for your business." The Manager showed no customer service skills, at least not that day. I am still giving 5 stars because I promised TJX I would!!!”

I had an issue with a side table I had bought. She told me exactly what I needed to do, she apologized on behalf of homesense and gave me a refund. Barbara was understanding, easy and pleasant to deal with.

“Yesterday, I went to Marshalls to look for pants. I found two great options at amazing prices — only $25 each. We were actually looking for pants for my wife, warm and sporty ones, and both options were perfect. In the end, we decided on one of them. I also spotted an Adidas T-shirt for myself, priced at $30 — such a great find! Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to take a picture because we were in a rush. I hope I can go back today to get it, but if it’s gone, I won’t be surprised — good stuff doesn’t stay long in this store.
What I love about Marshalls is how organized everything is. It’s always neat, with everything in its place, and the store smells nice. The staff are always friendly and ready to help. I also noticed a lot of Christmas decorations, but I’m not rushing to buy any holiday items just yet — probably after Halloween. This store is great, and you can visit every day because the selection keeps changing.”

“Don't be fooled, the Giant Tiger isn't as easy to find as it looks in the cover photo. But once you do, the great selection and extremely cheap prices are well worth the hunt. Always stuff on sale. Although very quite and unpopular, staff are very friendly and helping.”

“Recently had my winter tires put on, my oil change done and rust proof all done at this location the same morning! They were super accommodating when I had called to ask for all 3 services to be completed same day, they said no problem. They threw away my old tires for me, bagged up my summers and even filled my windshield fluid for me. I would highly recommend this location for their auto department. Thanks again guys, made my life a lot easier!”

“I always liked The Bay, especially The Bay Days. But I would like to comment on an employee named Kaitlyn at the Zeller's section at the Rideau St. branch. She helped me and explained to me the return policy in very simple terms without pressuring me and offered to keep the item I returned behind the service desk in case I change my mind to re-purchase it, which I did later on and made and an extra purchase on top of it. This lady is very personable, unassuming and a wonderful human being overall. Good help is very hard to find and I wish this young lady all the best in her chosen career.”
“This is a big Walmart in comparison with other Walmart departments in Ottawa.Many items that are on sale are available.Also, this Walmart is very clean and convenient.It has the biggest clothes department in comparison with other Walmart superstores in Ottawa. Moreover, it sells well-known brands for prices lower then at Amazon.After renovation in 2023 it became even better.Return/exchange is also very easy.”

“Went to look at furniture. Were lucky to arrive on the last day of a store wide sale. Had a fabulous salesperson (Victor) who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in allowing us to take our time, change our minds several times, and finally decide what we wanted. Victor is simply excellent. Look him up if your in this store looking for furniture.”

“Yesterday, a customer spoke to a clerk, and I patiently waited for them to finish. I then excused myself and asked for a voltage converter. The customer wasn’t happy that I was talking to the clerk, even though they were done talking. He then walked out and said, “You’re an idiot.” We didn’t know who he referred to, me or the clerk. I was stunned. Another customer heard him and asked me what happened. He then chased the person and reported it to the manager. His actions moved me since I couldn’t defend myself from the rude customer. I am thankful for the manager who took action and didn’t tolerate that kind of behaviour and also for the other customer who stood up and reported the incident.”

“I needed a particular battery for my garage door remote. I asked for help, and their friendly staff member helped me out. The item that I was looking for just happened to be within the batteries section but locked display case. I also learned that some batteries can also be found in the automotive service counter section. I ended up buying more than one at a cheaper price.”
