If I could give this place less than one star, I would. I took my car to Cotter's Auto Shop last winter, and the service was extremely poor. The staff took less than five minutes to work on my car, leaving many areas untouched. When rust started appearing, I called to inquire about it. The lady at the service desk informed me that their product doesn't prevent rust. Really? I've previously gone to the location in Metcalfe, and they were always professional and honest. I will never return to this place again.

Had my truck sprayed at Cotter's with Krown rust control. First time in, they missed a few spots, but Ryan booked another appointment for me immediately and had me come back in for a free spray. Good service.

Very dirty place. They use a very light oil to do the crowning. I was very dissatisfied with the service.

Took my daughter's VW Golf here for Krown rustproofing today. Everything was running very efficiently and on schedule. TV and wifi available in waiting room. Front reception clerk was friendly and professional. Good experience. Recommended!

The product Krown is very good. But Cotter's does not spray hardly any product. My car was in and out in 20 minutes. Not a sign of dripping whatsoever. If they sprayed the car, it was a VERY insignificant amount. I normally go to s different Krown location and after a treatment there, the car drips for 3 to 4 days. This is how I know the rust inhibitor is getting to all the hard to reach places (and therefore providing adequate rust protection). Absolutely no dripping when Cotter's applied the treatment. None whatsoever !Cotter's were very rough with the car. They scratched the car as they removed one of the plugs. It is a complete scam and the workmanship and service are awful. Krown is a great product. Cotter's is terrible. Never again !

I go to Krown yearly for their great service on rustproofing, one year I went to another place and regretted it as they left oil all over the interior and windows so I spent more at Krown to get the better service, however this last experience was the worst, I had overspray oil all on the inside and outside of my windows, the seats, the steering wheel and my pedals. I couldn’t see out my windows and had to go to the car wash to wash my car and spend 50 minutes cleaning the inside to get the oil out. It defeated the whole process of getting the rustproofing done. Just hope it doesn’t stay this way, super disappointed this time and hope it’s not the norm. I rather pay extra for better service.

We've been taking our vehicles here for the last 10 years. They're both in excellent shape and I'm sure automakers are not happy about the fact that we're not replacing them more often. 11yo van is still rust-free as well as my 7yo pickup. I also specifically ask them not to wash the vehicles (other than windows and mirrors) as I'd like the formula to creep into all crevices.

I have taken three vehicle to Cotter's for years. Always friendly and I have been happy with the service. On my last visit I had an issue which I brought to Dave's attention. He never questioned my concern and went out of his way to make things right.I'll be back again this year.
