Choosing the right auto shop is a bit like finding a good dentist or hairdresser. You find one you like and you stick with them. Choosing Myers for my automotive needs fits this philosophy. Having decided that a Nissan Rogue Platinum would be our retirement car, Myers on Palladium drive was the choice based on location and reputation. Each and every time I deal with this business I am reminded that I made a wise choice. I purchased the Rogue from Myers on Palladium Drive, I have it serviced there and recently had a collision damage dent fixed ( not my fault!) at Myers Carstar on Dealership Way in Barhaven. Now I am no pushover. I spent 54 years dealing with consumer issues with the automotive industry. Retired as Quality Commando and Logo Cop for the national business I worked for. Based this experience Myers checks all the boxes for sales, service and autobody repair. It’s a pity I can award only a maximum of five stars!!

Amazing place and people! Everyone from Vicky, Emily and Shawn were super helpful, polite and the work itself is great. I was pleasantly surprised that the inside of my car has been cleaned(Floor mats etc) I will definitely only get any repairs done here from now on! Thank you to the awesome staff!

Super helpful staff all-around. Vickie at the front desk went above and beyond in assisting us to deal with our insurance adjuster (who was being particularly difficult). Jacob from their in-house Enterprise Rental as well kept us informed and was super patient with our inexperience.

Professional work and good customer service. I brought my car in to have the trunk lid replaced due to it being rusted through. When I went to pick up my car after the work had been completed, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had cleaned the interior and exterior of my car as a free service. Would recommend.

I was very happy with the service and attention to detail I received recently from Brigitte Demers at CarStar Barrhaven. Her customer service is amazing, as is her expertise and knowledge. I had a few glitches due to issues with my insurance company however, that didn't affect the overall experience with CarStar. Thank you!

Initial intake service is great, but then the communication starts to fall apart and it just went down hill from there. I had an appointment, saying it would take 9 to 10 business days to complete. I called after 6 business days only to find out that my vehicle is in cue to be fixed. Then asking if it would be done in time in which they couldn't confirm. I know these shops are busy, but don't tell me a timeline and not deliver!!Enterprise Car rental was amazing!Communication at Carstar was difficult to say the least. I ended up calling the dealership myself to get the proper timing of the repair. Lack of communication and poor management caused my vehicle to be in the shop for days then I care to mention. The final repair results were perfect, but such a pain to get there.If it wasn't for the great initial intake service of Nick and the wonderful people at the car rental, my review would be 2 stars.

So bad serviceI bought my new car from the agency and they forced me and I had an accident. The car agency had comprehensive insurance and they forced me to repair my car in this very bad center.

Received an estimate for some paint work - all damage was scratches on the outside of the car and fully visible. After dropping the car off I got an email 4 days later saying that due to “hidden damage” the price was now 45% higher! After discussion it was clear that there was nothing “hidden” at all, which they acknowledged - all damage was visible when they provided the initial estimate. Would not honour the initial estimate. Completely unapologetic and actually said “this is normal, it always costs more than the estimate”. Will never use again.

This is, hands down, the worst repair shop I have ever dealt with. Extremly unorganized, untruthful, and unprofessional are just some of the thoughts that come to mind when I think about Carstar. I have been dealing with the VP - Shawn Jamieson, and he has no clue what is going on in the repair shop or when the job will be completed.My car was towed to their shop on August 15th. They estimated that the job would take 2 months to fix and should be done mid of October.Mid October, the car wasn't ready.End of October, they asked for 2 weeks extension as they claimed that all of their work is done, and that they were only waiting on a parking sensor harness that was on back order from the manufacturer.Mid November, they got the part and we were expecting the car to be ready. But no. They ask for another week extension to paint and calibrate the car.The week after, you gussed it! another week extension because they still havent done anything and they need to "paint" and "calibrate" the vehicle.The week after, same story.To this day we have no idea what is getting done in the shop or when the car is going to be ready. We just keep hearing excuses. They won't give us a completion date or take accountabilty for any of these delays. I'm not even certain of the quality of work being done here. My car has been in their shop for over 110+ days now.Now I've hired a lawyer and I'm looking to pursue legal action to get my car out, and get compensated for this. It has been a nightmare dealing with them.PS. they got nothing to say to this and won't tell you anything in writting (no accountability), instead they will just say call us to resolve this issue, and even then nothing gets resolved.

Carstars Barrhaven, estimated repair time for my bumper replacement was three days. THREE WEEKS LATER, they completed the job. Manager was patronizing and arrogant with constant excuses. Terrible experience.
