My daughter was just in this store as part of a Carleton university function. She bought something, paid for it, and left the store. She was with several other people in the store. After she left the clerk noticed some missing product and randomly selected my daughter to accuse of stealing. My daughter returned to the store and was made to empty all her pockets and her bag. She was completely humiliated and embarrassed and when asked why they thought she had stolen when she literally paid the clerk said “ you looked at me funny”.Are you actually kidding me. DO BETTER

This is a lovely little shop with all kinds of products made in Canada. We were in Ottawa for a short visit and came across this shop on Google map selling Canadian products. The products are arranged by provinces. There are handmade maple leaves coasters which are our favourite. They are made of glass with real maple leaves fused inside the glass. It definitely feels like you are bringing a part of Ottawa home. There are also beautiful jewelleries and other more common souvenirs such as keychains, magnets, etc. Definitely lots to look at inside a little shop that is conveniently located at Byward Market. The shopkeeper, Anne (hope I remembered your name correctly) was super helpful and kind. She provided lots of tips in picking what I bought to bring home. Thank you. Will definitely come back next time we are in Ottawa again.

I visited here October 8, 2022. Before visiting Canada, I saw a list of foods one should definitely try, and one item was Saskatoon Prairie Berries. I thought I would not find it in Ottawa, and so was thrilled when the owner said yes, she did have this.I also bought Canada True brand Maple Cream Cookies, and Turkey Hill Maple Green Tea, and now back home I notice the price I paid for these two is the same as the best online retail price so that is nice, and was quite reasonable in any case.In all a wonderful store with a great selection of Canada products.

Excellent service during a VERY DIFFICULT time in Ottawa. Due to the besieging of downtown Ottawa, I had to change the deliver address twice, and the basket came exactly on time for the birthday. Thanks, Canada in a basket!

I like the fact that all the products sold in this store are made in Canada. My girlfriend purchased some tea that she absolutely loves and I purchased some nice cider. The lady that runs this store is very nice as well. We probably spent as much time just chatting with her as we did looking around. A refreshing change compared to most businesses these days.

Very friendly, we wanted a bunch of items as wedding favours and she ordered them for us. Much better than we were expecting from a tourist store! The quality of the merchandise is quite good and I recommend it for your touristic needs!

This is a store in the Byward Market that sells souvenirs made in Canada. We have a wide variety of foods, mainly long-lasting foods such as processed maple products and smoked seafood. On the other hand, the number of handicrafts is small.
