Great store to buy equipment for outdoor activities. The selection of clothes isn't as generous as SAIL, however their camping, fishing and hunting departments are just outstanding. The guys at the hunting counter have been extremely knowledgeable and kind. Great place to buy gifts for nature lovers.

It's a lovely store with lots of stuff, ample parking and very helpful staff. Anything you could possibly need for outdoor activities is sold here.
I gave a rating of 3/5 instead of 5/5 because I found 1 section of the store to be non-functional. It was the firearms section. They have this non-intuitive QR code system to "take a number". I did so and waited 1 hour without my number coming up, despite seeing like a wasp nest of people around the counter and interacting with staff. I decided to give up and leave to make my $800 purchase elsewhere ??♂️

Don't bother going there; you will get a better service on Amazon.
So few years ago I gave this store 4/5 and since then they went really downhill. We came to buy a crossbow for my son, who just got his apprenticeship hunting license. So hardly a cheap purchase. Well, not a single associate to help us, we were left on our own to look for something that would be suitable for him. When we found a crossbow, we took it to a counter, where we had to wait for a associate to finish something on his computer in the back. I asked if they would assemble the crossbow and set the scope (as they used to do in not so distant past). He wouldn't even be botherer to respond properly, just shook head and barked no. When I mentioned that they used to do it, he just shrugged. Basically, I got to take a box and go home to assemble it. In addition, one cannot return crossbows or bows, so if there is something missing or wrong, I am stuck dealing with the manufacturer. Now, if I bought it on Amazon, they would deliver it to my home (so I would save on gasoline and time). If there were something wrong, the customer service is usually pretty good. So why would I bother to go to a store next time, when I get better service online. And then store owners will moan about online shopping and how it is bad for them. May be if they had some customer service that would set them apart, they would make it worth to come there. They can be sure that in the future I will rather buy stuff on Amazon than bother to go to Cabela's.

Most of the staff are very kind and helpful but some of them are kinda arrogant, nice fishing gear and I’d come back.

Better than any of the US stores that I've been in.
