I very rarely write reviews, but I want to share my experience with the bookstore. I bought my grandfather a mug for christmas, they didn’t wrap it or anything so I carefully placed it in my bag and hopped on the train to go home. Upon getting home, I realized my mug had broke on the journey. Keep it mind, it wasn’t as if I was blatantly throwing my bag around to see if my mug would break. It’s a $25 mug and i’m a university student, I don’t really have the budget to break mugs for the fun of it. I went into the bookstore today to see if they would be able to help me out and replace it, where instead I received probably some of the worst customer service i’ve ever had in my life. The lady and man at the front both went out of their way to tell me it was my fault, that I should’ve asked for the mug to be wrapped because it was my responsibility to ask, that it wasn’t their problem and that there was nothing they could do. Thank god the manager of the story was so sweet, and immediately replaced it after the woman from the front desk brought me to her office. It costs nothing to be kind, you work in a university bookstore and went out of your way to make a student during finals feel small to try to make yourself bigger. If it wasn’t for the manager’s apology, I probably would’ve gone out of my way to avoid the university bookstore for the remainder of my time at the university.

A neat store, great staff, only problem is everything is pricey there. Even the books professors choose are pricey while there are better textbooks and free resources. They could provide custom resources printed, but they aren't doing it. Probably doing it for the commissions, and giving students a run for their money. While AI is flourishing and are better at explaining things in a language level and fluidity one wants without any ill intentions, I don't really see the need of these pillow sized textbooks to be distributed to every student's. Maybe professors can use them as resources to build custom printed copyright free textbooks for a 10-12 week classes by holding onto the insight that students are not just taking one course per semester and be a bit considerate about the course load while preparing them. Accept innovation and integrate it into learning.

Quite impressed with the prices but rather hard to find as the Building it is located in doesn't actually have the street number posted on it?

arguably one of the worst customer service stores I've ever been to. the store manager treats her staff like garbage and the sales associates are rude. overall, garbage

Shipping is fast, textbooks look perfect; but I so disappointed with the shipping cost. Spent $150 on textbooks, but local shipping is not free, and pickup service is also not available.
