I’ve been dropping my baby/toddlers stuff off for consignment every few months for over 2 years now, but this is now the 3rd or 4th time that the brand new rain boots or gently used name brand name sneakers have not showed up on my inventory list. I have addressed this issue and they just ‘don’t know’ what happened. Not sure if they are keeping it for their own profit and not adding it to my account or just simply losing track of items. I’ve also had over 50 items of clothing that were still showing active but when I go retrieve them before the expiry, they’re not on the racks. Really frustrating. Considering no longer bringing my stuff there anymore.

I've shopped here a few times and have always been happy with the selection and pricing.

I understand it's a consignment shop, however pricing used items for the same price or more than store price makes no sense. $10.99 for a 2T giant tiger dress?? $5.99 for used books? $23.99 for a bathing suit? I can understand people over pricing their items but I won't be back here, there are better options.

Not only is Boomerang a welcoming store with excellent staff, they have a wide array of options for all price points. I'm very impressed and will definitely be back. Dropping off items is easy and convenient, and shopping is hassle-free. Can't wait to be back again!:)

Not overly impressed with this place and lack of communication. Went to retrieve my items after much runaround with pieces missing and no explanation of their whereabouts. I would recommend selling your items on Marketplace instead. Overall this was a very frustrating experience.

Amazing staff. Friendly and so very helpful. Helped us find what we needed and kept us notified of things we were looking for. Products are amazing quality and their safety protocols made buying there simple and with peace of mind. Can’t recommend them enough!!

I feel like a lot of people complaining don't understand what consignment means - either they didn't read the contract as consignors or they don't understand the concept. As a consignor, you have the ability to log on to your account and see what items they have taken from what you dropped off. They donate what they don't think they can't sell to charity, it's upfront in the contract. They give you a certain amount of time to pick the things up, if they don't sell then they too are donated. As for the cost of items, it's not their fault if Carter's and Joe Fresh have been giving their new clothes away for practically free after 18 months of losing revenue and not having people in store due to the pandemic. They use average retail prices. Imagine as a consignor if things were priced at $2! The point of consignment is not just because things are cheaper but also for the environment to reuse what's already out there. Be considerate and ask yourself, if you can buy a brand new pair of pants for $2 at Joe Fresh what that says about the conditions the pants were made in and how the workers are treated. Consignment means you have a selection of the best of what people are dropping off, and badmouthing a company that's trying their best to help families out isn't going to increase the selection! This is a perfectly good store, it's a little odd in terms of location since it's essentially the basement of a building complex but there's street and storefront parking in an area where it's very difficult to find parking normally. I found NWT items in the size i was looking for last time I was there - the selection really depends on you taking your time to look around and asking if you can't find a section. I've never had trouble finding things here for younger kids.

Where smart families shop? More like where families are scammed.Marking up used clothes, we just bought the exact same pair of pants for 3 dollars at Joe Fresh (marked down from retail price of 7) that we paid 8 dollars for at this store. I am amazed that a store like this that promotes supporting families and community would rip us off. Greed does not look good on you. Never again will I shop at this location

amazing selection of kids clothes. Found my nephew a terrific paw patrol toy that he had on his wishlist for half of the retail. Encourages people to re-sell their clothes and shop consignment. Love the concept, love the staff, love the excellent name brands they carry! Will keep coming back

Found this location to be unorganized and way overpriced. I went in to find decent prices on used clothing, and I walked out with nothing. Selling Joe Fresh girls pants for 8.99 when I can get them on clearance for much less, new.Looked for sleepers for my son, couldn't really find any. Then I found a random sleepers section in the outerwear section...huh?

Awful experience consigning items with this store. I recommend people sell things on their own. I'd have been better off doing so myself. Poor communication on the part of the management and staff. Zero accountability. Don't bother emailing or leaving voicemail messages, as they apparently don't check messages and emails go to head office? You won't hear back from these folks. I recommend selling on Poshmark. Even Kijiji is a better option. Don't waste your time with this "business".

Update:I went back not too long ago and it seemed like they are trying to clean up and organize more. the box of clothes is now gone.Very dark and messy. I'm 7 months pregnant with twins and had to look through a bin of maternity clothes on the floor. I gave up after a 1min. I tried on a dress that was a ripped. The prices seemed to be a bit high for used clothing. The baby clothes selection looked good and the front area when you come in looks nice too.

Way overpriced! I have been here several times now and I can’t bring myself to pay the price they are asking for USED items. Go to St Vincent De Paul instead where you can buy kids clothes for 75 cents.

The lady at the cash register said that they do not know if the clothes that they receive are clean or not.
