Waited 20 minutes for someone to help me, no one did. Asked 3 employees, all of them blew me off, so I pulled out my phone and ordered the product I wanted off amazon because no one would take out out of the security display. Unprofessional store, don't bother going.

Ordered something on boxing day for pickup. Delayed processing it to the 31st and because I didn't pick it up that day they cancelled the order. What a terrible way to treat your customers!

I have never left a review a review before but I must say that my experience at Best Buy a couple days ago was exceptional enough for me to leave one.
I was having trouble choosing a gift for my daughter, and one of the checkout attendants(I believe her name was Safia) was fantastic. She advised some headphone options and explained the policies behind them, as well as which ones were the best sellers.
Thanks to her my daughter loved my gift and she was so happy! This was honestly such a great experience.

Amazing service at Best Buy Ottawa – St. Laurent Mall!
I ordered 2 phones and 7 phone service lines for our company, and the experience was absolutely outstanding. Mr. Mubarak was extremely patient, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process.
He provided honest advice, went the extra mile, and made sure I received the best possible options and latest offers—even things I didn’t ask about or wasn’t aware of. His goal was clearly to ensure the customer is completely satisfied, not just to make a sale.
This level of service is rare. Mubarak truly represents Best Buy at its best.

So decide to buy dash cam think-ware F200 pro dash cam
and the special get free OBD connector.
So i go and talk person in department . Yes available go to cash , you ll get unit and free connector . So i pay for it OBD connector, its inside, cashier says. i go to my truck, no connector. Return Back inside customer service desk, please come back in 20. She says that she will return it, and remake order, i will got it shipped. 30 min later. I return inside, oh no more available online. Can t make order so please refund me completely. Manager told me same thing
Get refund, i log in, to best buy app , i placed order completely online with free OBD CONNECTOR included . Great, wasted 59 min, for nothing. Wow great staff with acknowledge....not.

I have been shopping at the Best Buy store on Coventry Road for several years, even though I live in a different city. I keep coming back specifically because of the outstanding management and team, led by Manager Josh.
The team here consistently goes above and beyond. Whatever I ask for, as long as it is within policy, they genuinely try to find the best possible solution — and very often they exceed expectations. A great example was my first-ever price match experience. At another store, I was told the price match would depend on the price at the time of delivery, several days later, which felt very risky. At this Best Buy, there was no hesitation — the price match was confirmed and completed the same day, without unnecessary complications.
What impressed me even more is that the team stayed with me over 45 minutes after closing time to finalize the purchase and make sure everything was done properly. That level of dedication is rare.
Despite my credit score not being perfect at the time, they helped me open a financing plan of around $4,000 with equal monthly payments. This made it possible for me to buy important items for my family in a responsible way, and I truly appreciate that trust and support.
The communication style of the manager and his team is respectful, honest, and genuinely human. You never feel rushed or pressured. If a team member doesn’t have personal experience with a product, they will actively find someone who does, so you receive realistic and honest advice — not just a sales pitch. I experienced this firsthand when purchasing a complex driving setup (Logitech G29), and the guidance was perfectly aligned with my budget and needs, especially during Black Friday deals.
I highly recommend this store. If you live nearby, go there first and speak with the manager — you will be in good hands. Without hesitation, this is the best Best Buy experience I’ve had in Canada or the U.S. since 2005.

Wheelchair users must come with an attendant or you will be ignored. I just tried to call the store. You cannot reach the store and the call center cannot tell you what time of day that a disabled person can go and get help getting a computer so therefore, without me being present, my worker has to go and buy a computer because I'm supposed to be dying in bed and not allowed to even pick my last computer on my own. Thank you very much disgusting absolutely disgusting. I called that answer line, can't answer everything. They can't put you through to the store. I don't know when to go where I won't be ignored, so I will just go without a tablet. Because disabled people don't buy stuff. So just ignore us as we come into the store.

We got a new phone at best buy today. We dealt with Manahil and she was a delight. Super nice and personable. She also knew what she was doing and kept us updated on everything.
