took my car here to get new springs, was charged fairly and went home happy. later in the week i noticed a new sound coming from my car when i turned my steering wheel. took it to a new mechanic since i was in a different area only to find out vanderheydens installed the springs incorrectly by forgetting to attach the rubber pieces above the spring. this made the metal from the springs rub against the metal of my car creating a new noise, which now i have to pay extra for new rubber parts.

i have been here for a few times, and they do know what they are doing but they overcharge, ive been doing most of my own car stuff and it doesn’t cost that much

The manager(Will?) and the younger mechanician Liam are super responsible and transparent. They solved a rare signal on my MB very quickly and charged fairly. They are very friendly and we chatted about our trip afterwards.

Brought my Jetta in for a problem that 3 other mechanics and Volkswagen couldn't figure out and these guys figured out in 10 minutes. They're are absolutely awesome and the prices are fair. Wim and the staff are awesome. I highly recommend this place, don't listen to any haters out there. Great job guys and thanks again I'll be a loyal customer from here on in.

I took my truck to a local Chev dealer with check engine light on. They say they replaced a sensor for $600. I drove it once and light came back on. Took it back and they now say I need a new fuel pump for $1,000 and insisted the 2 issues were unrelated. So I took it to Vanderheydens instead and they immediately found a broken gasket on the tank and fixed it for a fraction. These guys know their stuff! Local family business with amazing customer care. Don’t waste your money at a dealer!!!!

We broke down on a Friday at 4pm. Stranded in Newcastle. The garage went out of their way to accommodate us and try to help us out of a tough jam. They offered to go above and beyond. That type of sincere concern for people makes this my number one choice.
